Hikari nodded and gave all the mortal girls a quick wink before looking to Mary again. "Give me your best punch," she suggested quickly, the vampire venom in her veins adding to her viciousness. He was not in the mood to turn the other twenty-odd girls. Let them all marvel at Hikari and Mary for a while... make them want it all the more. "And where are you going, master?" Hikari questioned, hoping to get an answer when she used the title. "You'll see," Dracula answered shortly, and turned on the spot, disappearing from the castle foyer.

Sakura nodded. "Though," she said, even though she really wanted to keep it to herself, "it's kind of hard to love it at after what's happened to everyone..." She quickly unwrapped her sandwich and stuff half of it in her mouth to hide the rest of her emotions.

"This is all very odd for me," he commented shortly a moment later. Hikari nodded. "Thought I'm sure," she began, "that we really don't have much of a choice anyway." Dracula chuckled deeply under his breath. "True, my sweet," he grinned. "Though I'm sure you'll find this just as much fun as anything else you've done before."

"Something tells me we can eat whatever we want and it won't hurt our bodies," Sakura said, and then giggled loudly. "It's like everything is candy for us!"

"Or just make sure you don't make enough noise to attract the villagers!" Van Helsing shouted back. He suddenly stood up and went to sit on top of Jinx, holding his arms over his chest again. D looked over from the fireplace and frowned, but didn't say anything. "I've tried my best to conquer the evil of these hunters on my own," Dracula continued. "But for thousands of years I've had no such luck. The worst of our enemy is named Van Helsing, a butcher of those that he deems unsuitable to live in this world. He has gathered numbers with him, powerful allies, some of which are even vampires that have betrayed their kind to fight against us. "The truth is, I need your help, my children. You will become powerful beautiful, and immortal, and I shall become your master and ruler... and together we can destroy those that wish to exterminate us!"

Sakura giggled. "I've only had candy once before, but I heard it's made of this stuff called sugar and that's what makes it so sweet." She pulled a sandwich out of the bag and examined it. "But I heard sugar isn't good for you... even if it's really yummy!"
"Don't be scared to be alone with her," Van Helsing sighed. "What's she going to do to you, Carl? You're so... innocent in your own little way." Edward couldn't help but snort under his breath as he waited for Hannah' response. Dracula began in his smoothest of tones: "The reasons I've gathered you here, my dears, is we have an enemy against us. None of you have been aware of him or his allies because of your naive human lives, but now that you're here, you must know of this threat. As you can see, vampires are not the vicious, mindless, ugly, disgusting creatures you paint us to be. Rather, we are beautiful, powerful, graceful beings that never take more than their fill. Some of us are even righteous enough to only feed on criminals and murderers of the human world (*cough* lestat *cough*). But there are some that hunt us, purely because they think they are better than us... because of the minuscule fact that they are human."
