You're definitely getting too little sleep then, I think for adults the recommended amount of sleep is 7-8 hours per night. Do you sleep longer in the week-ends? It could explain why you don't have the problem in then, especially if you get up a lot later than on school days. When do you usually go to sleep? When do you have to get up? Do you exercise at all? I can go to sleep a lot earlier (10:30ish) on those days I've had my dance/theater lessons, or when I've gone for a jog (heck, even walking around slowly for half an hour-hour helps at times), than on those days when I just sit around watching tv (I sometimes go to sleep as late as 2 am). If you aren't getting any exercise, I suggest going for a short walk before you do your homework, or if you don't want to/aren't allowed to do recreational activities before your homework is done, immediately after that, then have either dinner, or a small snack. It should keep you awake for a while, but tires you enough that you go to sleep earlier How long is your nap in the evenings? If it's only about an hour, hour and a half, it shouldn't really affect your sleeping schedule, it actually might be good for you. However, if it's more than that (especially if it's over three hours) it probably is going to affect it, pushing back the time you can get sleep at night. I usually get extremely tired at around 7-8 pm, but when I should go to sleep, I start feeling energized again. Granted, I have quite a bit of caffeine during the day (morning cup of coffee, coffee/tea at lunch, if I'm really tired a cup after school...), so there's my reason... Are your school days long? Regardless of my caffeine intake, I'm always exhausted after those days I've had 8-10 hours of school, to the point that I sometimes fall asleep in the bus (which was fine when my school trip was over an hour long, but now that it's only 15-20 minutes... >.<). So, the TL;DR version: Get more sleep, exercise, if you wanna get rid of the naps and go to sleep earlier, if the nap doesn't affect your sleeping schedule and is under an hour and a half, keep having it for the time being.
Unless there's something you're not telling, it's no homo, since I'm a chick xD But yes, F*CK YEAH REDWALL >8D I'm not even kidding, I learned most of my English from those books ^^''
I wanted to watch it when it started ; ; Finnish networks are just freaking stupid and decided to air it at 11:30 pm. We didn't have tivo back then <.< So I'm gonna have to start from season three now if I wanna get into it... Eurgh, I hate when that happens T_T
Hmmm, I'm kinda doubting that Nintendogs caused the dog to attack. My cousins have two large dogs (although the other one is the most mellow dog I have met), and my grandparents (who only live a block away, so my cousins are at their place all of the time) have a slightly psychotic dog, and they have never had any reactions to the game. And like the OP said, Animal Planet could just as well cause a dog attack. Is it just me, or is the whole 'media blaming video games'-thing getting old?
I've had some geek moments in stead of weaboo ones. I once called my teacher Wedge by accident. For the remainder of high-school my friends and I called him Commander Antilles. He actually appreciated it ^.^ There's also the fact that I used to read Star Wars/Redwall/Wheel of Time/Inheritance Cycle/LotR novels in class/hallways when I got bored.
Is that... lightning? Indoors?!? INCONCEIVABLE!
.-. I only know one (minorish) characater from the show. And he's (probably) dead for good ; ; Blah, I don't wanna go to school ;~; And I have to leave in 15 minutes for it T_T Submit to my (re-)self-pimpage! Or I'll ... pout?
Your point is? Men can't get pregnant, hence they won't need abortions, which is what we're supposed to be discussing. And don't get me wrong, I'm in no way saying that female on male rape is okay, or that male victims don't suffer as much as female ones because they can't get pregnant, I'm just saying that it has very little to do with the topic at hand. @Fearless: Plan B pills are a good option, if you can get them in time, but I doubt that most pro-lifers would support it either, as it's sort of a mixure between contraceptives and an early abortion. (On the other hand, most of them probably would never know when a woman has taken one.) I couldn't find any info on this on-line, but my Health Ed teacher said that women shouldn't take the 'morning after pill' more than three times during their life, preferrably less than that. I can't remember why though, it might've had something to do with it not being as effective if taken more than once, or it might cause some health problems. It's possible that he was talking about an older version of the pill though, so I don't have any idea if this still applies...
*bang* Oops, my pistol went off by accident <;x
Just watching Good Wife and Nurse Jackie until I fall asleep. Only a couple more hours left of the day anyways.
If this was yesterday, I'd say me. But since it isn't... <;3
.-. You've obviously missed the threads What? and I derailed with our mutual histrocal geekery. Although I'll admit that What? is far more superior than I am in his geekery.
Brooklyn Rules. Wasn't terrible, although I called the person being killed at the end of the movie in his first scene. But I was surprised when Spoiler Alec Baldwin's character got axed, though.
She is you. Boxers are comfortable to sleep in, regardless of gender.
The fact that the parents should be more accepting of the girl's pregnancy doesn't mean that they will be. Unfortunate, but true. Unless the girl is lucky and gives birth to the baby during summer holidays, it is going to affect her education, and quite probably her social life. From what I've heard, you should take some time off before giving birth, and you need at least six weeks after labour to let your body heal, probably more, if you're still a teenager. At least in my school, that would mean losing at least one term, if not an entire school year. If women knew who was going to rape them, the number of rapes would go down drastically. Seriously, most of the time the rapist is someone you would least expect. Sure, there are times when it's that creepy stalker who's been leering at you since you've known him, but more often than not it isn't. Then there's the rapists who don't even know their victim...
Uh, guys, did anyone else lose a bunch of posts after the forum came back? 'Cause I lost about twenty, and I still had them yesterday evening...
Say "I wanna have yur babies :/8D:" Worked for a friend of mine.
The Siege of Leningrad. .-.
... That makes sense. Better than "Dino's in NY" which is apparently what I was subjected to.
I'm not .-. My name memory sucks. Especially if the last time I heard the name it was in the 90's and in Finnish.
