'You're right," Hannah said thoughtfully. "It would put the other's out of harms way... and we'd get business done faster. Plus, with Dracula out of the way, Bee might come back to her senses." "Please," Beatrice beseeched. "If you help me, you can stay with me if you'd like." She thinks we want to leave! Oh, she is a funny one. "You like it here?" Beatrice asked and then shook her head. "Never mind that. I'm willing to make a deal with you." In over her head, this one is. A deal you say? "Yes," Beatrice said firmly. She hated how the bats kept distracting her. "What is it you want?" Nothing really. Yes, we're quite content here. "Forget it then," Beatrice folded her arms. Oh, she's got a temper too. Ha! I'd like to see how long she lasts here. "You're not very nice bats," Beatrice started to walk away. Where did she get the notion that bats are nice? I don't know... maybe she comes from another world where bats are accomodating and sweet. That sounds sickening. I agree. Beatrice continued to walk until she couldn't hear the bats inane blabber.
Jasmine was a bit surprised by the smile that came to her face at Eva's actions. She had a feeling that they'd become friends. Jasmine went along with Eva's plan, though she was a terrible liar. She opened the door for Logan. "I'm alone... Is something wrong...?" She asked, partially truly wondering. The thought that those people would come back again was still planted firmly in her mind. OOC: It's never too late to join! You're both in. ^^
Okay, go ahead and post on the thread for what you'd like. I have go now though. I'll be back on tomorrow probably.
"I'm fine, thanks," Jasmine answered quietly. "I... I'm sorry about the jet thing..."
Of course! ^^ Would you be making an OC or taking one of the listed characters?
Jasmine jumped at the sudden knock, and stuffed her phone back into her pocket. Slowly, she opened the door, still expecting one of the people who had been at her house to jump out any moment.
"I'll try," Storm replied appeasingly. "I'm off to bed; there are still classes tomorrow after all." Jasmine got up off the bed and started to pace. She wasn't tired and didn't think she'd sleep at all tonight. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her cell phone; the only thing of 'home' she had left. She checked for missed calls, but she had none. It was apparent to her that no one was missing her.
Storm sighed. "I don't know what will happen if we send her into classes right away. Her telepathy isn't under control; she uses it unconsciously depending on her emotion. She nearly took the jet down, Rogue. I'm afraid she'll hurt someone, intentionally or acidentally. For the next couple of days, she won't be going to classes. It'll give her a chance to settle in and get used to it here."
It doesn't help that I'm easily distracted either... XD
That's fine. ^^
"That's fine," Storm agreed. "But if you're going near Jasmine, be very careful."
"No. Thank you, Rogue," Storm answered. "Go ahead and get some rest."
Me too. Though I'm trying to break the habit.
"You could say that," Storm sighed with a small smile. "We've got our hands full, Logan and I. Things are going to be different around her now."
OOC: I still love you, brother! I'll be back soon; I'm going to eat dinner with my brother. ^^
Oh... ^^' I always wait till the last minute to do anything.
3 weeks? You've got plenty of time then. XD
Storm exited the office, the door slid shut behind her. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. Tracking the Rebellion would be a lot easier if they had a telepath that could use Cerebro. She had already come to terms with the fact that they didn't though and she was doing all she could to keep the Rebellion under her watch.
Jasmine laid down on her side and curled into a ball. She didn't like being alone in a place she didn't know with people she knew nothing about. Logan had told her that she would be safe here, but that didn't take away all her fears.
I don't think she's working tomorrow, so once I'm done with my homework we should be on.
