The votes are based on popularity and the like as voted for by a large majority.
Further more, I have to say his ratings as based on strength are fair. Although, it depends on which Madoka we're on about. If we're on about Goddess Madoka, then yeah, she's the top. If we're on about the Madoka as in from the other timelines we saw Homura travel through, then she'd be fairly high up still but not at the top.

At any rate, I also have to share Jayn's sentiment about Rika Furude. I dunno about her being a Magical Girl (albeit, the constant reincarnating thing and the like is cool, and I think she's done numerous cosplays for penalty games, as well as being a Magical Girl in Kira... so that is probably the thing that counts there)... but, since she is on the list here and therefore is being considered as one, I do have to wonder why she isn't higher.
Albeit, the others certainly do have a more Magical Girl feel to them than her, so that could have something to do with it.

As I've said to you elsewhere:

Personally, the First Season is the better of the two, and the Second has it's good moments, but Endless 8 was frustrating although I can appreciate what they tried to accomplish and why they did it.
The Movie was fantastic. Faithful to the novel and the Manga for a huge majority (I even wrote a uni essay on the comparisons. XD)

But again, I still just happen to prefer the Manga and the Novels overall. There is just some sort of beauty and order to it and the quality and bonus things that the manga has compared to the series.
It's a tough call.
I do like the series, albeit some stuff in it more than others. And if we count the movie in with the series which... yes it does fit in, that does raise the bar of it highly.
Overall, the Haruhi package is a lovely one regardless of the medium used to view it.

First of all... As Saxima pointed out; Calling out members is a big no no.
Also, I like many of the other members think the rules on this site are fine and that everyone has the right to joke around. Especially in Last Person to Post where that is one of the aims. Admittedly not at the cost of another members happiness, but I don't feel that was the case.
Also, I feel that there is nothing wrong with people at least asking if someone can type a bit clearer. After all, bad grammar and spelling can be annoying. Admittedly, it's not everyone's fault, but at the end of the day, there is nothing wrong with people expecting an effort to at least be made when a person is clearly capable of using good grammar and spelling, but is clearly choosing not to.


Essentially though, I agree with Saxima, she said it all much better than I ever could.

But yes, this shouldn't be taken the wrong way when I say this, but I have to agree that this thread is just kinda silly/a waste/unnecessary (or however you want to put it.)
Nothing about the site needs to be changed really, although, I have to say. Makaze does raise some interesting points with what he had to say and I am certainly intrigued.
