Take was a little annoyed by the fact the plan didn't work, and when he noticed Jim backing away towards the cabin, he had a feeling he knew what was going on. Takehiko raised an eyebrow a bit and said, "Yeah, we're part of the night crew. Shifts get worrisome with tired workers...." he looked back over towards Chrono before turning back towards the young man and he began inching towards the cabin as well, "We were below deck for the most part, but we did notice an issue when doing a quick inspection, a problem with one of the lifeboats, well, more specifically the... rmblmblmbl." Take's knowledge on boats was starting to fail him so he hoped him coughing and then mumbling could somehow cover it up. Take was about the same distance from the cabin as the boy, just on the opposite side, "So we've just come to inform the captain."
Takehiko looked around and spoke, "I assume the captain would be wherever the captain's cabin is which is..." Take finally spotted it and sighed, "Riiiight behind the guy mopping...." the boy looked to see if there was another route around but it seemed almost impossible for there to be a way without going past the cabin boy. Takehiko crossed his arms and asked, "Alright guys, we're gonna have to be subtle about this. So try and be casual, and Illiana maybe not do that walk with the umbrell- where is Illiana?" Take realized the girl wasn't with their group anymore and raised an eyebrow, "O...kay... well, I'm not gonna worry about her then. She'll... probably be fine. Um, let's... just walk past the guy and not draw attention to ourselves?" Take asked it as a question and looked to Chrono and Glyde in case there were objections. But he didn't wait too long before he started walking on over towards the cabin. Trying not to draw the attention of the guy mopping. Maybe he'd just think they were other members of the crew or something? He wasn't entirely sure this would work but he kept with it anyway. Though he was doing his best to not walk like a soldier and try to keep a more casual walk. Which looked casual, albeit totally unnatural a walk for those who knew what Take walked like, since he was much more relaxed in posture.
Kaida listened to Hikaru's reply and before she did, she acknowledged Stratos' comment and gave him a nod and a thumbs up before she turned to Hikaru and said, "How exactly would we get these kind of answers from a man who apparently only has memories up 'until he went dark'?" Kaida was silent for a bit before she looked pained and said, "Wait, you think he was thinking about this stuff even before... what even was the point he 'went dark'?" Kaida stood there and pondered it, her fingers stroking her chin as she did before saying, "Cause... iunno. His change seemed... sudden. One day we were getting a long and the next he didn't want anything to do with me... Ugh, I don't like thinking about this stuff, Hikaru. I only just came to terms with the fact Aux was the bad guy.... unless he's not?" Kaida let go of her chin and said, "What if we're the bad guys? No that's stupid. I'm pretty sure we aren't shoving people into dangerous places and killing anyone... er, anyone who didn't at least instigate the conflict first." The blonde paused before her eyes narrowed and she poked Hikaru's chest, "I blame you for making me overthink this." Kaida sighed and looked down at the ground. Her finger still pointed at Hikaru as she admitted, "I don't want to do this... only to be happy we're a trio again... Then have this finish up only for Aux to gain all those memories back and want us dead again.." Kaida's hand fell and she looked up at Hikaru again, "I feel like it'd hurt more. And if anything... I just think it'd make Aux worse..."
Kaida wasn't particularly fond with how the conversation played out. But the names didn't even have to appear for Kaida to know they were going to shove Aux at her. She was a little happy Hikaru was going to be there, but she didn't really show an indicator. She didn't really have a face showing off any emotions until Hikaru asked and Kaida kept looking away from Hikaru as she responded in a defeated sounding voice, "Isn't it great? Just like old times..." she felt her fists tighten a bit as she said, "And if this is working out the way it seems to be, we're all becoming Masters together..." Kaida's fists loosened up as she finally looked over at Hikaru, but she didn't look in his eyes as she said, "It's funny... when I took my last exam and failed it... you had woken up, and had a keyblade... and Aux grew distant." Kaida sighed and closed her eyes for a moment before admitting, "I'm not okay with this. But I'll be fine..." she looked him in the eyes and paused a bit before she smiled a bit and said, "You know you don't have to hide the fact you're happy about it... I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at this scenario..."
Take paused, looking over at the... he assumed cabin boy because of the way he was cleaning the ship and Take looked around and said, "I feel like it'd end badly for us if we didn't let our presence be known to whoever was in charge... maybe we should try to go about this without alerting any of the crew?" Take seemed to be fairly knowledgeable about ships, which might seem odd, but when he was training with Atmos he found himself stopping to read to learn more about other world's military strategies and that's when he learned about boats. He didn't necessarily know everything, hell he dared say he didn't know most things, but that didn't mean he didn't at least feel confident enough to try and get to the Captain and alert them before they were automatically thrown overboard. He looked around for perhaps a captain's cabin or something and looked towards Chrono, "Any ideas?"
Kaida had gotten everything, including the recorder, back in the bag. She didn't know if she was going to listen to it more, she really didn't feel like that was a good idea. And she decided not to really give that offer to anyone else either. She didn't consider herself one who knew Karina well, but it seemed no one was in that condition. She had no idea why Ananta seemed to think that the whole thing was connected to her. She was pretty sure Karina wasn't projecting those hostilities because of her... for lack of a better word... daddy issues. Then Kaida looked over to hear Hikaru talking to AJ and AJ was talking for quite some time. She heard a couple words from her distance from them, what about Aux and the fact he... apparently saw himself as Hikaru? That seemed strange to her but she tried to shake it off. She was trying not to care about Aux, but seeing Hikaru seem to completely ignore how she was feeling about this scenario just to learn more about Aux... it hurt Kaida a lot. She didn't want to deal with Hikaru at that point either. Kaida decided instead to walk on over toward Yue and Megumi with her hands in her pocket. She stopped just short of the two and stood there. Silently. After a moment she finally raised an eyebrow and said, "So, how else are you going to torture us today? Hm? Gonna throw Aux but with only memories of when he was dark next? Oh oh wait. Here's a fantastic one. How about you make it so Aux's memories... are inside Glen. What?! What a twist that would be." Kaida gritted her teeth and said, "I don't know. At this point even if it wasn't in your control. I have doubt either of you are having control over this." Kaida paused a bit and looked at Yue and said, "I know I piss you off, and I'm sorry, but please tell me this isn't some sick twisted revenge towards me. I'm sorry I was a brat... I'm sorry I was-" Kaida cut herself off and asked, "You're not gonna let Aux continue with this are you?"
When the girl was down and out, Melus still had a skeptical nature to her. But she was also just, not doing so hot anyway. She'd managed to do alright when Krista was trying to get the others to attack, the clones of her's doing most of the work for her. But when everything seemed relatively safe, Melus let her harp kind of fall and disappear into the wind before she collapsed. But she didn't let the clones disappear. If anything, they surrounded her even more defensively now while she tried to catch her breath. But she was still hurting, and she didn't know any spells for curing. She wished she hadn't been down and out so easily, she didn't want to look like she was made of glass or anything but she was naturally more build like a mage. She really didn't know how she would have handled anyone in combat on her own, and that was never really her intent. The brunette wasn't strictly speaking afraid, but the clones reacted in a manner based on how worried she was about potential danger. She didn't know if there were lingering effects to the charm she should be worried about. She didn't know if someone was gonna pop up out of nowhere and try to wipe the floor with them. Which is why Melus was now tightly surrounded by her wind clones and not willing to let anyone in unless she was absolutely sure it was safe.
"Agnitio was killed in a mission offworld. My parents told me otherwise but adults don't keep quiet about that stuff.... I think it had something to do with the heartless... but I don't know." Mora let out a deep breath and said, "Old man Ryce... disappeared one day. I... don't know what happened. He just, never came back from his home up at the old castle. And we sent people to make sure he wasn't hurt or... worse... but he was gone. That's... I think that's why they asked LIGHT to come and help us." Mora answered unsure, "I mean, I know it had to deal with the machine but... I feel like if Ryce were here we wouldn't have had to worry as much... n-no offense to you guys. I just.. hm..." Mora felt uncomfortable continuing her sentence, "He was...m...more qualified?"
Hey you. Yes, you readin this. Could you do me a flavor and read a tiny Minecraft thread in the playground? ty if you did, if not take care~
So in February of this year, we opened up the Official KHV Server to everyone on KHV. So long as they let us know what their username was, they were whitelisted and messaged a little code to gain entry (since it wasn't exactly open access at the time) and for a little while there was a huge burst in activity, now it's kind of, well.... Actually, it's still active. Just not a lot of people. There's been a bit of a takeover by a lot of the RPA and some projects have been popping up depending on the will of the creator then. Sometimes there's dead spots, but overall there's generally about 2-3 people on a day with the server. Now, when we first began, there were many more on the server, so this little thread has been created to ask everyone a few questions about it, so we can get a gauge in interest. 1. Were you aware there was in fact a KHV minecraft server? Have you used it? 2. If you used it, do you still actively use it? 3. What were some of your favorite experiences on the server? 4. If you are no longer active, is there a particular reason why you found yourself being deterred? 5. Is there anything you would like to see changed about the Minecraft server? 6. Extra comments you may have that do not fit in the other areas? Overall, I've love to be able to see if we can make it so more people jump on in with all the fun. Currently, a few members have been working on making a HUGE city. And some of the more active members really like running around and showing all of our older projects to returning or new players! Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day~ -cstar
I AIN'T GONNA BE PART OF YOUR SYSTEM
Kaida kind of hesitated for a moment, not sure how she should approach this. On one hand, Aislinn had a bit of a point, it could possibly be something private, but on the other hand, what other time was there to find out was on it? What with everything being so quick. There was also the possibility the GM intentionally placed this in her bag for her to figure out. Kaida took a deep breath and clicked play on the recorder. When the recorder clicked off, Kaida held it up and commented, "O-oh... this... this is Karina's. She must have left it in here when she gave back the cloak..." Kaida bit her lip and looked over at Aislinn, turned out she was right. The blonde shifted her hair awkwardly and said, "Um, maybe uh... maybe if we see Lea again we could tell him to give it back to her cause um... I... feel kind of bad now."
For the ease of other's access (especially if they have questions about it). Character Sheet Feats List "This one guards a caravan. Not exactly one for this "politics" thing. Tttttthat's why this one punches stuff. So what would the squishy one like Purrah to punch?"
Mora turned towards Cerdic and shrugged saying, "I think there has always been a heartless problem here. So, maybe people were chased away by them? I don't actually know... there is, one book I remember... we don't have a lot of written books on our world, but I do remember reading it and it mentioned something about people splitting into two groups, one group leaving and one group staying. They didn't really like how this world turned out and wanted to move to a place that was better than them. I guess something big happened with a guy called The Traveler. He used a keyblade too, actually. Went out of his way to explore the worlds and came back with knowledge that helped shape the world into... maybe not what it is today, but led in this direction. Keyblade wielders aren't uncommon from here, well... they used to be more common. But we haven't had a keyblade wielder since Agnitio. And I was little when he was around." Mora continued walking, ran ahead a little just to make sure before she came back, "Though there was Master Ryce but, he wasn't from here, he moved here but wasn't exactly a keyblade wielder that came from our soil, ya know?" Mora looked back just to check before echoing, "...ya know?"
Kaida listened to Ananta speak, not really wanting to but being forced into it nonetheless. The girl paused and tried to explain herself, trying to say she wasn't going through loud in clear, but Kaida was definitely hearing her loud and clear. When the green haired girl offered up a handkerchief almost as if a symbol of truce (there was obviously a practical element but that didn't matter as much). Kaida pushed her hand away and said, "You're ridiculous. As if we need to think that." Kaida went to walk away and tripped over herself, as she was worked up so much, and fell a bit to her side. Her bag opened up a bit and her cloak slipped out and Kaida grumbled as she got on her knees to reorganize it mumbling, "If you want to take Aux's side here, take it, but keep me out of-" Kaida paused as she felt something in the cloak pocket and pulled it out to hold up a recorder and she closed up her bag and held it up, looking around at it and asking, "...What is this? I've never had one of these. It looks like something DJ would throw together like my watch but... wait." Kaida looked it over and said, "It's... a tape recorder. Why is there a tape recorder in here I don't own a tape recorder... why even..."
When Mora was dragged ahead, she was a bit surprised at exactly who it was that did. Not because she was inclined to believe Chrys wouldn't, she didn't know the guy, but because she thought one of the others were more inclined to so first. But soon, everyone was getting up and heading down the corridor with her. Mora let herself lead ahead so she could bring them through the tunnels without a problem. The first tunnel was a rather long stretch and in pretty much a straight line. There weren't any particular twists and turns to it, but Mora kept running ahead just to make sure the coast was clear. She heard a couple loud bangs overhead, which made her stop for a moment and motion for the rest of the group to stay still, but nothing bad came of them and she continued on her way. They soon reached another supply room that had beds in it, ready for those who wished to rest, but Mora went straight forward and said, "I imagine you guys are tired but... this isn't the time." The other side of the tunnel split slightly, but Mora led them towards the right side and said, "Left side just leads to an exit we don't want to use." and she continued. The walls to the left said were beginning to be lined with little discs that were shaped and designed very carefully. There also seemed to a spot that emitted a kind of light towards the center. They were very old and looked like they barely worked for whatever they used to be used for. Mora walked by them as if they were junk, but based on the positioning and care, it was clear they used to be something. Mora walked further and finally spoke up, "Sorry everything is so dark, I think installing lights in this place would cause problems. These walls are ancient, but it seems to be keeping the heartless out..." Mora placed her hands behind her head and said, "The things on the walls are called finders. They used to make a signal that let people know they were lost, and pressing the button would emit a light for anyone nearby. I think they used to have something that told exactly how far away the person was from the terminal but... it doesn't work anymore." Mora shrugged and said, "Gramps told me this world used to be much bigger and people would go through the mountains a lot, and kids would get lost. So they gave them these. I don't know, it sounds odd. Because we were always told to look for these tunnels if we were ever lost."
Kaida heard Ananta's response and couldn't believe the words she was hearing. The yellow haired girl turned towards her with a glare and saw her place a hand on Hikaru's shoulder, as if she was more prioritized to console him. But shile she didn't necessarily mind that fact, what she said about Aux pissed her off infinitely more. Kaida walked closer to Ananta and pushed her back a little bit so she wasn't directly next to Hikaru, and Kaida punched her square in the face. The problem here, was that Ananta was a lot tougher than she expected, and when the punch collided Kaida grabbed her wrist in pain and tried to shake it off while she spoke angrily, trying to keep tears back from her eyes, "He had reasons? I don't care if Aux was hand picked by the Conductor himself to carry out his wishes. I don't care what his "reasons" were, his reasons mean nothing. What his actions were matter!" Kaida hissed a bit as she backed away, tears pouring out of her eyes and she said, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions. You weren't friends with him." Kaida paused and felt the tears pour out more as she croaked out, "Do you know what it's like to have your best friend wish you dead? And you don't know what happened to make him that way? To have all of those years of friendship torn apart because of reasons?" Kaida felt her hands tighten, she remembered for the longest time thinking it was her fault. Like when Hikaru had been in a coma, and she wasn't there. When Aux turned to darkness, and she wasn't there. Kaida took a breath and said, "Maybe you do... but what I've taken from this is that he can't be trusted. This may be the Aux I knew, but it's not the Aux he is now. And I don't trust Aux the way he is now." and Kaida turned to walk away and left through the portal to head to Shibuya.
Take tried his best to cast aside his worries over whether or not this was going to work. He figured it'd be best if he just focused on the task at hand. When they ported, he felt the swaying of the ship. An unfamiliar sensation that almost made him dizzy on the spot. But once he looked up towards the sky, an almost child-like wonder filled his eyes as he saw... well, the colorful space around them as they sailed. Take walked a few steps forward, softly. Like he was trying to not put any weight down to alert and potential enemies as he looked out the starboard and port. He made sure to try and keep himself calm, but he was actually kind of excited over it. Take opened up his mouth and said, "This is so cool... oh man..." Take looked at the rest of his team and raised his hand up towards the sky in disbelief as he asked, "Do you guys see this? This is beautiful." He was doing his best to keep quiet but his astonishment was not easily hid.
Take listened to her explain her homeworld, he was a bit annoyed by how she wouldn't say why she was becoming a keyblade master, and her fun answer was relatively generic but he didn't know what else to expect from that. Take heard her response about the divide and conquer and when she mentioned her rank he was taken aback. A lieutenant general? That wasn't exactly a rank to sneeze at, it may not have been at the top of the totem pole but it was something that he definitely had respect for but something was... off about her. For one, her discipline was virtually nonexistent and he refused to believe that she was even in the army with the way she carried herself. Takehiko listened to her decide to go inside, and he watched her shut the door and he sighed a bit and leaned back. She didn't care about him or his past, she just wanted to talk and make sure they were on good terms. Take almost didn't like that, but he at least understood it. He was hoping maybe this would lead to a back and forth, for him to be able to try and connect with her, but she didn't. Maybe that was her military discipline kicking in where she didn't want to divulge more than necessary and kept herself from forming connections with partners? He didn't actually know. Take sat in silence for a bit and looked down at the purring Nini and whispered low, "Am I doing this whole thing wrong, Nini? Should I be trying to connect less with people in this way?" the tiny black cat didn't respond, but she did hop off his lap and walk over to the door to claw their way inside. She must have been hungry. Take understood. So the boy picked himself up and said, "Alright we'll try to get you a meal in quick before we head out... I probably should eat too anyway." and he walked back into the house with the cat in tow. Nini mewled as she sprinted across the room towards the kitchen and Take sighed and said to the cat, "Meowing won't make the food come faster, it'll just make you angrier." Nini meowed back and Take saw the whole group gathering in the living room and stopped, "Oh, you're awake, Are we already heading out?" The cat meowed even louder and Take cringed up and said, "I'll be back in a second." Take came back not long after with a well-fed and happy cat sleeping on his bag and he had an orange peeled already he was very happy to munch on with some toast as he smiled a bit at everyone and said with his mouth a bit full, "I'm all set."
There was a little too much that seemed to go on in that short time span. When this Sho appeared with a megaphone and began talking... she wasn't exactly expecting much. But when he materialized Glen out of the room for speaking up, Kaida reached out and yelled, "Glen!" but was cut off from everything when this man continued on as if nothing even happened. She closed her eyes and tried to hold back the anger she was feeling at the scenario already for losing Glen in the blink of an eye, but then the revelation of who X was happened. Apparently, it was Aux, which she honestly hadn't expected considering the build on this hooded guy wasn't exactly the same. And the second she saw Aux she was filled with even more rage, now redirected towards her former friend. But something was... wrong. Aux did not have his memories, and thus was not the Aux she knew. And when the man decided to make modifications on the deal and made Aux remember up to... some point. He knew who she was, but Kaida didn't care. She knew this was a temporary fix. If they all got out of here, Aux would probably just turn on them again, she wasn't going to trust him no matter what. Aux was ported out of there after the Sho situation was dealt with by a man named Megumi who wanted to figure out what exactly to do with him. When she heard Hikaru mention Aux, Kaida gritted her teeth and turned towards Hikaru, "Forget about Aux! It's part of the game. This isn't who he is, we all know it!" Kaida grabbed her hands and held them tight as she asked, "What about Glen? What's gonna happen to him?" she looked pained over the fact that her friend was gone, if anything, Glen was one of the closest companions she had here, he had been with her since Corona. She was sick of losing so many friends in the blink of an eye. Kaida looked over towards the portal to Shibuya as she said, "Aux could disappear for all I care. It'd make things so much easier, and probably be the merciful way to end him." she was very hostile at the idea of him, "I don't care what he once was."
