The Heartless shrank back into the shadows, traveling through them across the area. Kairi stopped to rest. "What am I going to tell Sora? If he finds out about Riku, who knows how it'll affect the baby..." The Heartless climbed through Kairi's shadow on the tree behind her. It held its clawed feet near the girl's head. Kairi turned around be saw nothing. The Heartless shrank back in the shadows just in time. "Must have imagined it..."
"Riku!" Kairi was on the verge of tears. "I'll come back for you guys!" Before she ran, she fired a Water spell at the group of Heartless. A small Heartless poked its head out of a shadow on the ground. Its amber eyes glowed, even in the daylight, and its cat-like ears moved towards any noise it heard.
Here's my pic (is the size good enough?): http://i407.photobucket.com/albums/pp157/Azure_Haseo/_0001_0001.jpg
"Val!" Jeffrey turned and cast Earth. It missed the Neoshadow, hitting a Large Body instead. A Neoshadow attacked him from behind. "Guys!" Kairi quickly froze a Wyvern and ran towards the others.
Jeffrey sloppily drew his katana, holding it loosely in his hands. "Let's go!" I hope they'll be okay... Kairi thought. They can handle themselves. A few elixirs can't change that, right? She ran towards a Neoshadow, slashing it in two.
Kairi jumped back, summoning Destiny's Embrace. Jeffrey started waving his arms. "Friendly Heartless! Squishy darkness friends!" "So not helping..."
"Hey, hey, Kairi," Jeffrey turned towards the Keyblade Wielder. "Can you go check it out? We think it's friendly..." Kairi sighed, walking slowly towards the bushes.
"There is a place, where the grass is what's for dinner♪..." Jeffrey trailed off. Kairi couldn't help but facepalm at her party's current state.
"Hey, Riku," Jeffrey started, "what does red smell like? Is it good? I hope it's good, because it's my favorite." "What'll we do if Heartless attack?" Kairi muttered to herself. "These three won't be able to do anything..."
"Alright, Kai, Ri, you guys can handle them on your own," Jeffrey told them. "Me and Val will keep waiting for Luna to come." I have no idea what you two are talking about...
"Luna...! Now there's someone who can help us..." Jeffrey looked up at the sky. "But stars haven't raised the moon and her up yet."
Jeffrey sat next to Valerie. "I don't know. Everything seems so much more... colorful, you know?" Kairi stood there, scratching her head. "Good thing I only drank one..."
"We can take care of them! And then we'll save the world!" Jeffrey shouted. Kairi looked at him like he was crazy.
Jeffrey gulped down his, as well. Even Kairi decided to drink this time. "Whoa," Jeffrey said as they walked, "did the grass used to be that... green?"
"Aero!" "Earth!" Both mushrooms handed out 2 more elixirs each. "Woo!" Jeffrey shouted as he grabbed another, handing one to Valerie.
"Stop!" Kairi took care of the third one. "Only one more, right?" Jeffrey asked, after all three had been solved.
"Well, the more Mushrooms, the more prizes for us!" Jeffrey said excited, if not hyperactive even, casting another Earth spell on the first one.
Haseo .
Kairi put her elixir away. "I'll pass for now." Jeffrey shrugged, taking a sip of his. The taste kept changing - lemon-lime soda, mint chocolate chip ice cream, Reese's peanut butter cups, and so on. "You were right, this is is amazing..."
"I think the third one's dead..." Jeffrey guessed. "Think you can cast a Life spell, Kairi?" "I read about it in a really old spell book, but I've never tried it before," Kairi replied. "But I guess there's a first time for everything." She summoned Destiny's Embrace to help her cast the spell. "Life!" A circle of light shined around the White Mushroom. It stood up and handed out MP spheres and 2 elixirs like the others. Jeffrey walked over and picked up the elixirs. "Spoils of war?" he joked.
