Gotcha. Looking through the Drive, I totally understand now. There's quite a bit done, things just aren't completely tidied up and error free yet. Thanks for the quick help. I'll be sure to report any bugs I come across. Planning on 100%ing everything (on Proud mode, no less...), so I should be pretty thorough. EDIT: I don't know if any of you care or are aware of it, but one thing I noticed was that sometimes the text in speech bubble on Destiny Island wouldn't be completely in the bubble. As in, a line of text would continue instead of breaking down, and would we visible out of the side of the speech bubble. Not a big deal by any means, just giving a heads up if no one was aware. Sadly I passed that part and don't remember the exact places it happened. Once when you're giving Kairi the first set of supplies, I think (logs, cloth, etc).[DOUBLEPOST=1390363119][/DOUBLEPOST]Awesome, worked like a charm. Still seeing general untranslated bits here and there in Traverse Town. Some chests (and other item gain texts) don't say "Obtained [ITEM]", and instead say something like "[ITEM]VII" and some gibberish. Also, item descriptions in the shop are all gibberish. No "bugs" or anything major so far. Are those untranslated bits already known, just not done yet? If you want, I could message someone in detail what I find that isn't translated (so it wouldn't just clog up this thread). Or I could just keep things to just bugs and major things. Lemme know, thanks again!
Okay, so the patch that I downloaded (http://goo.gl/QvXq2I) is "stable", but basically is just Destiny Islands, menus, and items? But if I swap those ARD files into the stable version's import folder and run the ISOMaker on top of the already stable patched ISO, it should add the unstable translations onto my current ISO? Or should I simply put the ARD files in, then run the ISOMaker on a clean Final Mix ISO? I'm fine with running into errors and helping you guys out with bug reports. I can always take my save file, play through the broken part on a clean/stable ISO, then jump back to the unstable ISO and continue on with my same save file, correct?
That still doesn't make sense. Multiple people asked what was complete on the patch, and it was clearly said that almost everything was done besides Hollow Bastion. If the patch isn't complete, that's fine, but they didn't reply saying "Only Destiny Islands, menus, and items are done." which is what I'm experiencing.
Okay... I'm really confused. First off, I wanna give props to you guys for making this patch happen despite the PS3 version coming out. Being able to play this, in English, on my PC is utterly amazing. Thank you. Unfortunately, I'm having issues. I followed the instructions to patch the game by the letter, and everything went great. I started the game, English voiceovers (those are Japanese without the patch, yeah?), English subtitles, as well as all English speech bubbles, menus, items, etc. Everything on Destiny Island was perfect. I could hardly tell the difference between it and my English copy on PS2. Then... I got to Traverse Town. EVERYTHING is gibberish, weird symbols, etc. I seriously mean everything, except for my menus and items (and voiceovers). Cutscene subtitles are gibberish, speech bubbles are gibberish, chest opening notifications are gibberish, the text that shows where the door you're entering leads to are gibberish, everything! Did I do something wrong? Because something is clearly screwed up. Is the translation for Traverse Town not done? I don't understand, because reading here it sounded like the only place not translated was Hollow Bastion. Now it's looking like the only thing translated is the menus, items, and Destiny Island... I downloaded the patch files that Crazycat posted, so I'm not sure what's up. I resorted to reading a script as I went, but that only works for select scenes... Not NPCs, locations, treasure chests, and so many other things that aren't listed in any script that are necessary to read as you play the game. I'm really bummed out... I hope I just did something wrong that I can fix. :(
