As Cole walked along, a grey bird flew towards him. "What the?" he wondered, seeing the bird land. He then saw a familiar face jump off the bird. ""Well well look at the new champion!" Steven said. Cole smiled. "Good to see you Steven," Cole said. "But what are you doing here?" Steven's faced changed to one of grim. "In Sinnoh there is a problem. Kids are being attacked by some goons and they cant hold them off. I need you to stop them. You can take Skarmory as well." Cole looked at him. "Okay I'll help them. Just as long as Skarmory knows where to go." The bird cawed in agreement and Cole hopped on, recalling his Sceptile. The bird then took off, flying into the air. Cole looked out over Littleroot Town. He had only been home one night and already he was leaving again to challenge the Battle Frontier. "Goodbye ma... pa..." he said, smiling. He threw a Pokeball and a Sceptile appeared. "Alright buddy," Cole said. "You ready to start our next journey?" Sceptile smiled and nodded and the two started walking towards Oldale Town. Since then he has travelled all through Hoenn with his starter Pokemon, Treecko, who is now a Sceptile. He just returned from Ever Grande City after beating Steven and becoming the new Champion of Hoenn. He plans to head on a journey to defeat the Battle Frontier, which has now scattered around Hoenn.
