OOC: I thought that was just the beginning...Never mind then. I'll post something about the rest of the Brotherhood... BIC: Sorion opened his eyes. "Huh, what's going on?" Enigma leaned back. "That's the last of them." "What are you talking about?" Sorion asked. "I was going to die...I should have died..." "So get up and live again," Enigma shrugged. "And while you're at it... I'm implementing Data Fragment 37a6b4." Sorion drew a ragged breath. "Really?" Enigma raised an eyebrow. "Do I look like I'm joking?" Sorion ran a hand through his hair. "When?" "Now. We leave now," Enigma said. "If all goes to plan, we should have access soon. Go get the others ready." Sorion nodded, and stood on his feet, running towards the door. "...'And so fate is shattered, destinies are changed, and the universe runs rampant once again,'" Enigma muttered. "'It is up to the soul to make a dream come true. Once again..........May your tears never fall.' Such a dismal quote." Turning, he walked outside, not looking back.
OOC: What about Nulix? Wasn't he going to respond to Wing eventually?
OOC: Well, they could if you had anybody there other than... do you even have anyone there?
OOC: Well, I'm on a bit later than I thought I would be, but I'm online. I'm going to go ahead and start the Scourge fight, since it is going to take a long time... BIC: Xardius' hard boots sounded loud on the hard floor. In front of him a long hall stood, decorated with soft lights that highlighted the beautiful mosaics along the wall. At the very end of the hall, a chair stood on a small raised area and in the chair sat Scourge. Dressed in black, Scourge's chin rested on one of his hands, while the other hand rested on one of the chair's swirling arms. His left foot slowly rotated as it rested atop his right knee, and Scourge seemed relaxed, bored even. Only his eyes spelled differently. Even from nearly a hundred meters away, Xardius could feel those eyes boring into him. "I'm glad you could make it," Scourge said, his rich baritone filling the hall. Xardius drew his sword, and Scourge chuckled, raising his head. "Calm down," Scourge said, "you don't want to be too hasty." "This time I'll kill you," Xardius growled. "And I'll avenge her death." Scourge said nothing, but his humor slowly dropped from his face into resignation. Standing, he brushed his clothes straight. "Good luck..." Xardius raised his sword. "Guys, are you ready?"
OOC: Yeah, I took the ACT today too! Woohoo! Be back later for all those who might get on within the next hour. In about an hour and a half later...
OOC: Hey, sorry for that. I'm stressed because of the test tomorrow, and when I get stressed, I get snappish. And touchy. It's all our diversity that really makes the UO great, and that's a fact. FYI, I'm going to be slow posting because I'm trying to take a practice test at the moment...but I'm bored, therefore posting...
OOC: Nulix just drop it. If we took a poll about whose plots were the greatest, yours wouldn't be any more popular or hated than anybody else's... Anyway, I'm going to be back on later, if I have time later. I have to practice some more for a test I'm taking.
OOC: It was epic because of the potential: look at all the story we've crammed into this thing since the beginning. We could do anything we wanted, and it was alright! It was immensely epic because nothing was wrong. *snaps fingers* I just figured out how to write the UO. I think I'm a genius...
OOC: I'm saying that the beginning of the UO was epic. Asgard was epic. Retlaw was epic. Vecked and Wing were epic. Compared to that, the other stuff was just confusing...
Yeah, I know, I was just whining... And Wing's busy with college and girlfriends and life, but he still manages to make it more than I expected....
OOC: It's true...(to both posts) Oh, yeah, so what I was going to post yesterday but never got around to it was my reaction to all the talk about new plots: Nulix thinks he's great, but we probably knew that already. By the way, there might not be any problems with coming up with ideas in your plots Nul, but they're not epic. Not that I'm saying mine are...Mine are all dead ends and so are annoying. Yours end up that the UO had little or no impact whatsoever no matter what we did, and so were annoying. We need something better... We need to have a plot where none of us know how it will end... I mean, this Brotherhood plot: I knew it was going to end in Scourge's death the entire time. I didn't want anything else to happen, so... Anyway, I'll try to come up with something (for much, much later), and I'll actually work on it hard instead of pretending.
OOC: Only if I have to get really nasty... BIC: Xardius walked past, smirking. Well I don't think like that either, Raijin... he thought as he walked by. But I do what I have to.
OOC: You guys remember Swordser2? She keeps bugging me to let her back in. I've told her no three times now...and the last one was pretty nasty. Maybe she'll get the hint... Anyway, I don't know what's going to happen with Raijin. But Scourge is coming right up. Today. I'm not going to make anybody wait any longer. BIC: Xardius shrugged. "It's not exactly the same thing...Besides, who are you to ask me about hesitation? You, who refused to kill a stupid eagle's chick?" Xardius raised a clenched fist. "If you want something, you have to take it, Raijin. No matter who gets hurt. Isn't that right?"
OOC: Well, I can't change anything now but for future arcs, what would you have liked to have done differently? I mean, I hate to say it but I can't think of another way to really get rid of the Brotherhood besides wiping them out. I mean, I'm going to have the Brotherhood come back but it'll be different. Maybe I just had to many characters and we shouldn't have had to fight all of them or something. I really liked Trent's fight, but that's about the only one I felt justified in having... Besides Scourge anyway. But that will probably end up being a mostly Xardius fight...at least for the final bits... OOC: Xardius kicked Raijin's sword out of his way. "So...what? I thought we'd been through this..."
OOC: Actually, that's really a good point. This is getting boring because we're doing that right now. It's because both me and Nulix are trying to finalize our plots, so there aren't any new plot twists or anything. So it's really boring... *sigh* And Pirate, why don't you post about Xardius finding Raijin or something...
OOC: Like I said, don't get mad................ Everyone likes Tera Roth, sure, but when I'm there, no one has anything for me... I feel like an eighteenth wheel. That's why I don't go back. It's not that I really have a problem (although I do find it annoying that I can't come up with my own stuff...), but that I don't really feel included... Oh, well, whatever. It's not that important anyway... BIC: Xardius turned and stared at the flame. "I wonder who that is......." He began running towards where the flame had been.
OOC: Hey, don't get mad... All I meant was that I liked coming up with my own storyline; the way he has it, no one can be better than anybody else, right...but there's no ingenuity either. I don't think Xardius is any better than your guys' characters. He's got more power, sure, but whether he's a better character...I don't think so. What I really like in an RP is where everybody can be equal in RPing, not characters. You get what I mean? And that whatever-person that Cleric had: the one who we all bashed and then she just regenerated? Everybody was like: WHOA! That's so stinking cool! And I thought: That is...really lame...I can't do anything to this character. At least Xardius gets beat up and stays beat up...Sometimes... I admit it, Xardius is honestly pretty ridiculous. But I'm gonna fix that in the upcoming season... Thanks to Tera Roth, Scourge, and some other plotlines... Anyway...Pirate, if you wanna do that, post and we'll move on. We need to get out of these endless undramatic battles... EDIT: I'm going to work on a plot while I'm gone, I've decided, one that will be different from the rest of these. Most of the plots so far are all about the battles... I'm going to make one where we never fight at all...Or maybe just a few times...
OOC: That's pretty much what it is, yup. Actually, it has a storyline, but the only one who really knows what's going on is Cleric (the head-honcho). I actually hate the CBR Rp I'm in (why I'm never there), because Cleric controls everything. He gives you missions, and controls them; he has some weird power system so I couldn't use Xardius; and ALL his characters are practically invincible, and we're all supposed to be in awe. GRAAAH! Just give me one shot and I'd kick all their sorry butts into one soggy doughnut and burn IT WITH XARDIUS! Hi Hidden! BIC: Ella tried to break free, but she couldn't as Mellodia's sword cut straight down her side. Ella screamed in pain and fell to the floor. Now it was only Novice... OOC: I think we should skip Enigma and Ravakov and just go straight to Raijin. Pirate wanted to do him before Scourge.
