I'm not going to lie here, quite frankly, this blew my mind. It's a story about two people writing a story about two people writing a story. This is both an excellent guide for tips on writing and a terrific example. The way the story made references, that if the reader pays any attention at all would notice, to itself are astonishing to say the least. At first I was a bit thrown off until I realized what was going on. This story is basically a narration of an interaction. It appears to be written while the events were happening live.

Spelling and grammar were top notch. Didn't see anything wrong on that end. This story is just so magnificent, I'm almost at a loss for words. I have no advice for improvement whatsoever. All I have to say is I'd love to see more of your work.

    Great story!

I just can't help but think that hyuge is sending these volunteers secret emails that then display subliminal messages creating sleeper cells for her to use in some devious "take over the world" type of plan. That or she's sharing secret cupcakes.

The bad thing is ... for the volunteers reading this, you'd never be able to tell if the latter actually happened or not.

EDIT: I just blew your mind, didn't I?

You assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect but actually, from a non-linear non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

I've actually done this before. When I'm severely tired, for some ungawdly reason, I play video games. I just happened to put in Assassin's Creed: Revelations one day and just started out. I was climbing up the castle and apparently nodded off for a bit because when I opened my eyes again I was at the top. It was kind of trippy but ... I got to play and sleep at the same time so I was cool with it.

I toss and turn while I'm sleeping because my back starts to ache if I stay in the same position for too long. I've found that taking Men's One A Day vitamins helps me sleep better and keeps me from rolling around a lot. I'd imagine that stress might be a small portion but the larger portion of why I toss around in my sleep is due to the strain on my back. I've also been told that while sleeping I'll bend one leg, knee up in the air, and swing it back and forth.

Totally agreed. Between the fight scene and the mystery box ... simply fantastic writing. This whole time we were all guessing how they'd open the box, where were the keys, and what was with the rainbow items? Meghan dropped a bomb with that finale, the good kind. The whole time they were collecting the keys right under our noses and we were never the wiser.

I am definitely all for giving Tirek the title "Devil of MLP". Dude was completely and undeniably villainous. He made Discord seem like an angel and not the bunny kind. I bet King Sombra and Chryssi would've had their hooves quaking if they'd have ran into this monstrosity of all that is wicked.

The fight scene was out of this world. It reminded me so much of the DBZ style fight scenes. For an episode of My Little Pony, it literally kicked arse.

I was a little crushed at first to see the library gone. My first thought was, "Where will Twilight live?" My second thought was, "Oh gawd, the fanfiction." After a few facepalms, I facepalmed later when Discord winked at Tia, I was happy to see the mystery box not only giving out super element of harmony powers (friggin amazing) but building a castle for Twilight and her friends. I had actually gone into the episode under the assumption that "Twilight's Kingdom" would turn out to be Tia and Luna's old castle in the Everfree. I normally am spot on with my predictions which makes media boring. This one blew my mind, which is very hard to do.

All in all, Meghan really outdid herself on this finale. It was simply astonishing ... now I just want to see how she tops it with the premiere of season 5.

Cool ^^ I was roped in when I started asking about all the pony graphics on the forum. I wasn't judging anyone but I honestly wanted to know what they were from. Had no idea that MLP was still a thing, I knew of the shows existence in the past. Who would've thunk that the show I loathed as a child would be enjoyable now? Though ... I still loathe the old versions ... Those graphics ... were horrid. *shudders*

It's always nice to hear from another enthusiast about their perspectives and thoughts on the show, well any show for that matter. It's really cool to see one of the oldfarts taking an interest in the show :p It's kind of like having someone famous in the fandom xD

There is so much truth to that statement it hurts. I had more anticipation placed in FiM's S4 finale than I did in the entire second season of Korra. Korra just had too much drama and not enough action/adventure. I am so disappointed that Korra wasn't more enjoyable but I was elated to find that FiM was completely enjoyable.

That was my first guess ... my second was some sort of psychic link shared by the two of you but that's just crazy ... right?

    "No Homo"

    Completely agreeing with this^

I feel no need whatsoever to end a statement, no matter what that statement may be, with such an atrocious remark as "no homo". To me it's just childish and quite frankly I'm going to think less of you as a person. Man up and tell your friends you love them. There's no reason to feel insecure about your masculinity, your sexual preference, or what other people think of both of them. I'm secure enough with myself to skip around town in a sailor moon outfit singing frozen songs and twirling those batons with the sparkly ribbons on the end. I'm not going to because I don't feel the need to do so but I would if I did.

And b4 anyone gives me flack about how it's hard to not feel insecure sometimes I'd like to say one thing ... *ahem* ... Bull. I know what it feels like to be insecure, I was insecure for the longest time growing up. I was insecure about my appearance, about my sexual preference, about my masculinity. I realized one day that it's a wasted effort to worry about what other people think of you and so in an effort to conserve my energy for more important endeavors I simply quit caring. There's always going to be someone who hates you or looks down on you but you know what ... that's their problem, not yours. There are individuals out there who are struggling with being homosexual, legitimately. It's minor insecurities like that, having to reinforce your own belief that you aren't homosexual (and really that's what it's about, it's not about making sure others know so much as it is yourself), that really grind my gears. Either you're homosexual or you're not, not getting into the many many variations of sexual preference at the moment. I don't want to constantly hear it all the time either way, just like I don't want to constantly hear what you're doing every morning on twitter.

Coupled with that avatar ... it's just so damn cute when you say it.

You are absolutely wonderful! I love it ^^ It fits in seamlessly with XenForo just like it was an official feature. Now I've got to get to work nicknaming everyone.

EDIT: I also love the real-time update when changing a nickname via member card. Absolutely fantastic!

If you're looking for specifics you're not going to get any. Like I've said, it's a programming error. I'm not a game designer so I can't tell you why it's doing what it's doing exactly. All I know is if it happens on every playthrough, it is a programming error.

No, I'm saying that the game's programming fudged up and it basically overlooked two levels. It's happened in other games I'm sure.

That's not really ironic, so much as it is mathematical. There's a formula in the game that tells it what to do for which level. They drop 5 at forty one and return to the correct state at forty two. As I said, it's more than likely a simple mistake in the programming. Unless you have an in depth knowledge of game coding then there's no way of fixing it. I have absolutely know idea about making games but I know a mistake when I see one.

My guess, some programmer accidentally hit a t instead of an f. Seriously, it happens sometimes. It might not be that simplistic but the bug is most likely caused because of a mistake in the programming. Old games and even new games have bugs like this. The only thing about old games though is that they didn't get patch updates to fix these bugs.

    A Sweet and Sour Thing

Dreams are nothing more than shadows knocking at the door.
Our hopes and prayers thrown to despair and tossed about the floor.
I can't decide what's real and what is make believe.
Time is short and bitter for which all we must achieve.

With each passing moment I can feel my heart beat faster.
The time grows near when we must all answer to one master.
The master of our fates and the master of our minds.
Listen to yourself and the master you will find.

For who else would control us if not for ourselves.
For whom exactly is the ringing of the bells.
Live life and know your ending will await.
Fear not when you are brought to death's sweet gate.

    ______________~~~_______________

That in life which controls us is fear.
Control your fear and in turn your life.
Life is far too short to live in constant terror.
