Yes it is. You wanted to know why pregnancy at certain ages is considered taboo, we are providing reasons for it. You can not start a debate then ban parts of the opposing sides argument.
A 12 year old is still a child them selves and not fully physically, or mentally to take on the responsibility of motherhood. She is not fully educated, to young to get a job, or a drivers license. Having a child that young will in most cases lead to a poor quality of life for the mother and child.
A 50, or 60 year old is past menopause unless she's taking something, which is a huge risk in it's self. Most people at this age are retired, and living off social security. Which sometimes can barely be enough to take care of ones self.
Not to mention the whole question of whether the person, or persons involved are still physically, and mentally capable of taking care of a young child.
Adding to all this, A woman over 60 is getting to the age where she may need someone to care for her. Not to mention the risk of leaving the child an orphan if both parents are elderly, or the mother is single.
I have a great uncle on my mothers side who was born with Down's syndrome his mother was 46 when she had him. He is in his 60's and now as he is getting older along with his siblings, and cousins there are less and less people willing and able to care for him. Women should be able to have children when they want but there comes a time when one has to consider the consequences of their actions, and think more of what may happen to the child than their own desires.
If the game was enough to influence him into murder, there was already something wrong with him. "He was so normal.", or "He seemed like such a nice person." is something people say about murderers, and serial killers all time. Mentally stable people are very rarely, if at all influenced by violent media.
I don't think anyone can be blamed for this tragedy but the culprit him self.
His parents obviously saw no signs of what was to come. It's unfair to blame the parents of an adult for his behavior, just as it is unfair to blame the game, or game manufacturers. He would most likely have engaged in violent behavior with out the game, and without his parents knowing what he would do.
I don't write much either, mostly drabbles. I've hardy written any yaoi at all, and no AkuRoku.
I've drawn a few yaoi type things though, nothing racy just my bizarre humor.
I LOVE threesomes!
I'd like to see some Sora/Riku/Roxas, or Leon/Cloud/Riku, or Ansem the Wise/Xehanorts heartless/Riku. :D I could pair Riku with just about anyone in KH, I wish I was a more competent writer, I get so many ideas I just can't get on paper. (or on my compy...)
I'd love to see Riku, and Namine action figures, and the rest of the Org. XIII too! Why only Axel? Why not Xemnas, or even Roxas in his Org. XIII coat, that would be cool.
I think it's possible. I have a fear of driving. My mother, grand mother , aunt, and cousin (all on my mothers side.) all have this fear, My cousin and grandmother have never learned to drive, and my mom and aunt don't drive long distances, or in big cities. I got my licence, but now I can't drive anymore because of panic attacks.
I love Sora/Riku, and I think Axel/Roxas is cute, I also like Xemnas/Saix, Leon/Cloud and Lexaus/Zexion. my favorite paring however is *prepares to get shot* Ansem the Wise/Riku, I love this paring and I can hardly find any of it.
Blaming video games, or what ever the current popular media is a scapegoat for those who don't want to study, and understand the problem.
The truth is Violent behavior, mental disorders, and yes even obesity all come down to genetics. Studies have shown certain events in life can effect these things such as known head injuries in childhood of many serial killers, causing brain damage. Or suffering physical, and mental abuse.
Anyone who was negatively affected by video games, movies, TV, comics, or books (All things that have been and are blamed for delinquent behavior.) already had a mental issue that was never dealt with in the proper manner.
I'd have to say with all the experiences I've had I have no choice but to believe.
I have had encounters with ghost through out my childhood and into my adult hood.
For a while I even had to deal with Poltergeist activity, because of a girl who was constantly subconsciously attacking a mutual friend out of jealousy. The Poltergeist activity ended when the girl moved out of state.
Things like unplugged phones ringing, electronic toys moving when they were switched off, objects being moved when no one was in the room, disembodied voices, and sightings of entities.
I no longer speak to the girl in question, but my friend still has contact with her, and the girl has apparently tried continue causing the disturbances. She was upset to find out she could no longer do so.
After the death of my older brother our stereo system would turn on full volume at random times, after the death of one of his friends my mother (who before was such a sceptic she refused to believe poltergeist activity that was happening right in front of her.) began to be haunted by foot steps following her or walking up the steps to her bedroom, even in the middle of the day.
right after my grandfather died, the tractor he always used broke down, and the color on our tv went out for the entire day, something it has not done since.
Namine could have run away from the Org, and never have had to mess with Sora's memories in the first place. Roxas and Riku could have spoken to one another instead being stupid boys with weapons. EVERYTHING that happened to Riku was his own choice, not Ansem's, and yeah he said get rid of, Not kill, or Destroy. Riku did exactly that by letting them leave together.
Riku used Namine, Roxas, Kairi, and Pinoccio.
Namine used Sora.
Axel used Namine, Kairi, Riku-Replica,and Sora.
Xemnas used everyone in the Org, Namine, and Sora.
Ansem never pretended to be a good guy, but he's not the only character who has done bac things. In the end he realized he was in the wrong, and died to stop Xemnas from using Kingdom Hearts....I don't even know why I'm arguing this. Sorry for getting off topic.
Ansem the Wise, he was betrayed by the ones he trusted the most, and left to rot in the darkness. By the time he was able to escape the dark he felt all he had left was revenge. He's the only one who never had a chance for a happy ending. Even the Nobodies that were destroyed have a chance of regaining their hearts, and becoming complete again. Ansem Never got to home like he wanted.
On top of that he gets bashed all the time. :cryinganime:
