I beat him using the "infinite charge gauge" cheat...but I wouldn't watch the cutscene...
Normally, I got him all the way to Heartless Angel (or whatever the attack was) and then he killed me 'cause I wasn't expecting it. I remember the first time I fought him I was REALLY freaked out because I thought he was only in Final Mix, so I was getting my 455 kicked and I couldn't stop laughing...
Here's a theory: maybe it's Aqua, and they don't want us to see her because of her connections with XIV in 358/2 Days. I mean, if she's playable in 358/2, which is coming out before BBS, she'd have pretty much the same gameplay in BBS, right? So they want to keep that a secret.
My brother says it'd be expensive to import, but no worries! The Big Man (Nomura) said that they're planning for "over-seas releases". And where would be a shoe-in for a release?
I already have a DS, so no worries 'bout that. The problem is a PSP for BBS...
I agree with you almost whole-heartedly! Sora is very dim and optimistic--that's his nature, and that's okay. But dammit, every time I go to fight Xigbar and Saix is telling Sora Kairi doesn't need him, and he says, "Am I supposed to believe that?" I think, "what a useless line..." Even Saix seems to think so. As for Kairi, what happened!? Don't get me wrong, I love Kairi too, but...her personality was mutilated for KH2. Sora and Kairi were both much more interesting in KH1. Kairi with her sunny disposition, Sora actually getting pissed off and calling Riku stupid (hey, it's a Disney game).
Yes, everyone loves Axel, Riku, Roxas, and Namine for the same reasons--they were the characters that Disney overlooked. They were the characters that Squeenix had their way with. They show all the depth of a Final Fantasy character. "%$#& Sora! I want to play as Roxas!" But all in all, poor Sora and Kairi...they got the short end of the stick for being the main characters.
I said Chocobos and Cactuars, but I really want all of them to appear. Rinoa is a given, due to the letter. I think they're holding off Vincent just to tease us. I'd like to see Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz as Riku's brothers (I saw it on deviantART and I can't get it out of my head now), and Quistis is one of my overall favorite characters. I also like Barrett, and think he's a badass character, and I'd like to see Chocobos, Cactuars, Tonberries, and Bombs making appearances in KH as more than just Gummi Ships. ($%*#$&!!!)
Beyond that I'd like to see Zell appear, maybe voiced by Joshua Seth, because I think his voice matches him. Also, I think there should be some FF summons, like Ifrit, or, better yet, Cait Sith or Kimahri.
Rinoa and Zell return to Radiant Garden from searching for old school friends. They explain that they found Seifer, but that it might be better to leave him as he is. Meanwhile, Sora and Kairi return to school and are taught by Quistis, who eventually admits that she knows Leon (but calls him Squall). Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz show up in Radiant Garden and get into a fight with Cloud and Leon because they know where Riku is. Vincent would be the new FF hero to appear in Olympus Colliseum (there's a new one in every game!) Chocobos are only found in some areas of worlds, and can be used to get around while avoiding random battles. Cactuars, Tonberries, and Moombas are like Moogles in KH1--strange creatures that can talk and walk around in worlds, but don't do anything. Then Bombs, Imps, etc. show themselves as Hearless, that do pretty much the same things as the originals.
I played Kingdom Hearts first, which is a shame, because I didn't get the full impact of seeing the FF characters in it...then I got FFX, and after that, FF8. Believe it or not, I still haven't played FF7. @.@
