Ahaha...I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to write something similar to this style but that didn't work out when my finals arrived. My thoughts escaped me once again.

Escape
You know you’re slowly dying. You heard the doctor talking with your parents when they brought you in the hospital at the age of five. You’re fifteen, not five anymore. Ten years in this forsaken place and you’re still here. You have no real say here because you’re still a minor and you need your parent’s consent to get out. It’s not like you’re going to ask because they put you here in the first place so they don’t have to bother with you.
The monitor beeps in your ears as you vaguely recollect into the world where your sickly body is laying as the nurse dose you with your medication. You’re lying in the white room; your pale skin seems more pallid under the fluorescent lighting and your chest rises slowly up and down. The medication makes you sleepy so you close your eyes and begin dreaming.
When you dream, it becomes a whole different world other than the white room. You’re vibrant and healthy like every other teenager. You laugh, cry, cheer, hurt and slack off like everybody else. You have friends in this reality rather than nurses and a doctor who gives you fake smiles and false hopes of getting better. Even when your parents come to check up on you once a while, you notice their smiles are strain and forced. Some loving parents they are.
Rather than watching the time go by in the white room and wait for death to swoop you away, you go to sleep and play with your friends in your reality. In this place, you’re never tired and you love the feeling of adrenaline coursing through your body.
Then slowly you notice it now, bit-by-bit you slowly notice the little changes in this world. You’re slower now when you run and you tire faster. Your so-called friends are disappearing one-by-one and finally find yourself alone in the empty streets of your world. That’s when you finally realize your time is almost up and now the loneliness you face in the white room is beginning to appear in your reality.
You wake up and find that the tears have stained your face. Your time is almost up and you have nobody to say goodbye. Nobody is there to give you comfort as the time approaches and you’re pretty sure they never cared. Your friends in your reality were only a figment of your imagination to ease the pain but now being able to see the truth, the fact hurts so much. In the end, you cried yourself to sleep and that was the last time you saw the white room and the reality you dreamed to escape in.
