I love to bump threads. Breathes new life into them. Anyway, this thread is great, and where else do you propose I put ways to annoy a Keyblade master other than the thread created for that purpose? :)

Just a couple of ones to add...

What number are we on? About 169?

169. Replace their Keychains with appropriately shaped confectionery (e.g. Haribo hearts for Ultima Weapon) and see what it does to the Keyblade.

170. Continuously claim that the Sonic Screwdriver is far better at opening locks, as well as actually doing almost anything else as well.
Just don't mention that the Sonic Screwdriver doesn't do wood.

171. Digitise them and place them in an alternate World That Never Was. Hack the programming to disable the Keyblade Appearance Protocol that previously saved Roxas's hide in KHII. Cause many "wonders" (a.k.a. glitches). Finally, do NOT keep backup copies of them, so that they are permanently aware that one slip-up and they're gone completely.

I know full well it's an uber bump. But look! It's actually triggered a renaissance on the thread! :rockdover: I just found the thread and thought... it's old, but what the hell. And here we are now lol

Finale Fantasy? (Yes - bad pun intended)

It will so never end. There are only a few ways it could:

• Square-Enix goes into financial freefall
• Fanbase dies out
• Video games become illegal
• They just stop making them
• The human race dies out/universe ends/whatever

Now for counterproofs, in respective order:

• Squaresoft did suffer financially. That's where the merger came in, and can do again if necessary.
• What, you seriously think that'll ever happen?
• I doubt it, but even then a black market would doubtless flourish ;)
• And lose their major revenue? Pfft... yeah right.
• Doesn't count, since there will be no-one left to observe the discontinuation!

What MIGHT happen, of course, is that it will gradually change into something new, as a sort of software analogy to evolution.

Anyway, it's the fourth best selling franchise ever, apparently (as of July 2007 anyway). I doubt that'll change anytime soon... except of course if it moves UP the ranking! For a teensy bit more info on this, I direct you to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_series#Reception

Although, I daresay there are a good number of fans... myself included... that get more and more irritated by Japan-only releases (KHIIFM+ comes to mind especially). If they keep it up, some of the fans might start drifting off... though despite this, I still rank them as one of the greatest game companies ever, in my opinion. Their stuff is just too good to not stay with them!

Further to Darkandroid's proof... I admire the spirit, but assuming a fairly constant rate (one numbered instalment every couple of years), that allows about 17 more, so it'd be 30 not 38. You weren't far off though, and maybe technology will improve to allow them to churn them out faster!

Now constantly remind him that Xemnas managed to command 12 subordinates and a lot of lesser nobodies. Keep asking him, "Why is that loser so much better than you?"

Disclaimer: I in no way think that Xemnas is better than anyone. Except Marluxia - a n00b whose hair didn't even have to be dyed to be pink :laughing-smiley-004.

A couple of ideas

I reckon we need a complete revised list to date at some point...especially since there are a few repeated ones floating around. Anyway...

To annoy Sora:
> Recreate the Dark Keyblade and stab everyone you can think of (except Sora) with it. Especially Kairi.
> Dye his hair pink when he's asleep.
> Make a deal with Hades that if Sora fails the Olympus Coliseum Hades Cup time trial, Hades gets to do what he wants with Sora. Wait until Sora starts the Cup. Then cast Stopga on him repeatedly.
> Tell him to eat half of a paopou, saying the other half's for Kairi. Then give the other half to Xemnas.
> Create a genetically modified antipaopou that looks the same as a normal one but has precisely the opposite effect i.e. that the sharers are thereafter never involved with one another's lives. Give one to Sora and Kairi to share.

To annoy Riku:
> Tell Sephiroth that Riku stole his hair.
> Remind him of every Dark thing he ever did until it fills his mind so much that he goes back to the side of Darkness. Permanently.
> Tell him that Mickey and DiZ were only using him to further their diabolical plans.
> Restore his power to create Dark Portals just long enough for him to end up in some inaccessible location. Then remove the capability again.
> Use the sharp edge of Way to the Dawn to saw his arms off.

To annoy any of them:
> Wish for Genie to turn them into a genie. Then trap them in their own lamp, and then seal the lamp permanently with their own Keyblade.
> Unleash the Potter Puppet Pals "Bother bother bother..." on them for all of eternity.
> Unlock the Keyholes of all the worlds, then find a good place to watch and laugh, as they rush to the Gummi hangar to fly to the worlds and reseal the Keyholes... only to find that you have already dismantled the Gummi Ship and jettisoned the Gummi Blocks into space.
> Equip the Crown Gummi to the Gummi Ship when they're not looking.
> Smear grease onto their Keyblade so that they can't hold onto it properly. Then send them to fight the Organization Data battles.

Including Oathkeeper?

It's hard to say, of course, but the general structure of it does, I think, resemble that of Oathkeeper.

Any more ideas from anyone else?

Hmmm...depends how you look at it. I'm not so sure, but it's still a good point. I take it you pretty much agree with the rest?

At the start of the KHII secret ending, the big thing that the first knight is standing on somewhat resembles Xemnas's dragon.

The main three Keyblades seen in the KHII secret ending are Sora's Kingdom Key, Mickey's Dark Realm Keyblade, and Riku's Way to the Dawn.

Of all the keyblades in the KHII ending, Fenrir is among them.

The bald bloke is somehow connected to Xehanort...

The one who gets frozen is Roxas/Sora or a lookalike. He is NOT dead, we see his eyes moving while the BHC* holds him. Of course, he might die shortly after that, but certainly at that point he is alive. Oh, and the bits that break off are just the Keyblade and helmet, not his arms...

There is possibly some relationship between the BHC and the RSL*.

If the blue heart thing in the sky isn't Kingdom Hearts, it's almost certainly connected. After all, it's exactly like it apart from being blue.

Maybe it's just me, but the BXB* was wielding something which looked vaguely like Oathkeeper.

The last knight to be unmasked may be connected to Saïx; the eye thing is possibly something like Berserk Mode, since it is the moonlight from Kingdom Hearts that triggers Saïx's Berserk and, well...the BKH*, you get the idea...

Mickey is holding the Star Seeker. No doubt about that one, right? :D
