I've been trying to get 3x of each enemy card (can't use cheats because they give me 98, inlcuding the Boss ones). Now, I have been pretty patient with some of the randomness of the drops, such as they vary between 2 battles in a row to not dropping them in 2-3 hours. I also figured out that the type of enemy card dropped depends on which enemy you defeat last in that particular wave, which helped me quite a bit.
But now, I've been fighting Barrel Spiders continuously for over 3 hours, and they have not dropped one enemy card. I wonder if any of you have suggestions to overcome any further difficulties with this.
Right now, my strategy is as follows:
1) Use Sleeping Darkness map card.
2) Attack the 3 barrels within the small proximity. 2a) Fight the Barrel Spiders
3) Repeat.
If nothing is there, it usually takes me 15 seconds per room. T_T
Edit: v_v... After I decided to take a break from this crazyness and try to get a rare Simba card that probably wasn't going to appear, I got a Simba 0, and the next Barrel Spider I fought, it dropped the enemy card... I don't know what's going on anymore... @_@
I'm still a noob about codes and stuff, but I'm going to guess that you were able to put a Final Mix code into the Re:COM folder because they were the same GameID (0001).
But I still think that putting codes from 2 games in one game section is a bad idea. The master codes for Final Mix and Re:COM are different, so it would be better to use one game section per master code.
If you're trying to use AR MAX codes, I think there's one of two problems that might be happening with you.
1) You have other custom codes on a game that uses the GameID 0001.
2) You can get Final Mix + to work, but not Re: COM (or vice versa) because the AR MAX codes in the first post for both games use the GameID 0001.
Unfortunately, you need to download MaxConvert from somewhere if you want to have codes that have a different GameID.
So, I suggest you get that, then take the master code in raw format (the ones that are at the top of the first post in "XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX" format). Might as well take all the codes in raw format you want to use later also, I guess...
Then change the GameID to some number that you think is not being used (and the region to Japan if you want to be **** about it...). Then change the top left combo box to "AR2v1/GS2v1" and the top right combo box to "AR MAX". Paste the raw master code at the big huge list box on the left, then hit convert. Then try the new AR MAX code that appears on the right in your AR MAX.
If that works, celebrate as you repeat the same steps above with all your other raw codes that you want to try out. Make sure you remember the GameID and Region that you use with this game. Also, make sure you use a different GameID when you use codes for the other game.
If all that doesn't work, I don't know what else to say because this is exactly how I got all my stuff working.
Well, no one decided to help me with my first post, so I had to go make it work myself. I tried a different Game ID and my ARMAX just complained about it. I've only read up on this stuff for the past week, so I don't really know anything about how codes come to be.
Anyway, I posted that second post so that someone else in my situation would have an easier time...
Well... I finally figured out how to get the Re: Chain of Memories codes working...
Using MaxConvert, the Game ID for them was actually 0001 (USA), so that was basically why my ARMAX was yelling at me (KH2:FM also uses 0001, so it must have assumed it was the same game). I also had to set the left side to AR2v1/GS2v1 for it to convert the "raw code" to the ARMAX code that actually didnt get spat at by the cheat device, and so I got the "multiply exp" code working...
So thats what you do if you want ARMAX Re: Chain of Memories codes.
(I also saw that there was no code for increasing Moogle Points or multiplying the amount that you pick up. If anyone has spare time or anything, that would be the code I would love to see appear).

Am I supposed to replace the xxxx, then convert it to ARMAX using the MAXConvert, then tag on the rest of the code after it? Since we don't know the Re:COM CodeID, I've gotten a little confused on how to go about doing this...
Could someone tell me how to go about getting that first line into the ARMAX format? Or telling me the whole ARMAX code for "Multiply EXP by 64" in Re:COM would be just as helpful if you think that would be easier.
Wow. You guys must have really good eyes to see all these flaws. I can usually just skip over the tiny mistakes, but I guess I'll have to watch it again and see.
I just hope I don't find anything as bad as how Marluxia looked in that KH2 Opening Movie. XD
I recognize only a few things that Marluxia said. Sometimes he just says "naNI" (I think we all know what that means).
When he's in the second form pulling off the dark blind card attack, I hear him saying something like "hikari ???? sekai de" (probably something to do with throwing you into a world without light or something like that).
Unfortunately, that's the best I can do with that. v_v...
