Man...I've got to admit, this was one of the better online April Fools' jokes I've seen. Despite the contradictions and the timing, you clearly went out of your way to make it sound as convincing as possible, complete with awkwardly translated questions and answers...which were convincing for the most part, but that comment about the imports really did stand out. Even so, though, I was kind of caught up in the excitement of the moment and took it at face value when I first saw it, so you had me going for a while there.
There are some vids up on Youtube of the battle against Marluxia's new form, and his attacks are pretty cool...though I was kind of under the impression that he didn't get to show off all of them.
He could be...personally I don't know much about this new fight with him, but I have heard the new track from the FM+ OST that apparently plays during it. It's simply titled "Lord of the Castle", and it rocks.
I agree that the Riku Replica is possibly the hardest mandatory boss in the series, particularly in the later battles, so I was looking forward to seeing something like this just to get an idea what he's like in Re:CoM...and if it's on Proud, all the better!
I'd be interested in knowing just which track is playing here. I thought I'd heard most of the new tracks for FM+ already, but I really don't think I recognize this one...
If I'm not mistaken, the guy fighting Roxas in this video is the same person from GameFAQs who tried to beat the Enigmatic Soldier in the other one, and I believe he's playing on Proud mode.
As for why Roxas has six life bars in this vid and thirteen in the commercial, I'm assuming it's because the one with thirteen is probably the enhanced version of him you can fight in the Cavern of Remembrance (the new area where you're able to fight "data clones" of the Organization members). The one with six life bars is the normal boss fight, and since you fight as him part of the story in that battle, they couldn't afford to make him as hard as they would have if he were an optional boss.
As many times as I've seen this video today, I can't seem to stop watching it...
Pure awesomeness. I look forward to seeing the aftermath of the fight...whenever someone actually manages to beat the guy- not to mention more of Aqua, Ven, Xehanort, and all the other characters from the Keyblade War. =)
