So, I picked up this manga at my highschool library around 4 1/2 years ago or so, and I found it to be amazing. It's actually pretty different from the main series in the way that FMA Brotherhood is different than FMA. I actually think it's better than the original Trigun, both in how the story progresses and that it actually has more content. If there's anyone who has read this as well, mind helping me out by covering anything that I missed without giving spoilers?
If they released on multiple consoles, it would help them in the long run. Many people love the KH series or are willing to give it a try, so if they do release their games for multiple consoles, they would not only distribute to a larger audience, but they'll also gain a stronger fanbase. If you knew a company was shelling out money to make sure their games were available to their fans, who due to various reasons can't afford to buy every console that comes out [which I guess would be a large portion of their older fans, unless they're elbow deep in their parents' pockets], wouldn't you think that that's a company that cares for it's fanbase? This would cause people to not only buy KH games, but any other Square Enix games because SE will become a favorite to them, and as we're all ashamed to admit, a person will blindly assume that their favorite company makes nothing but quality games. Seriously, they'll think their poo will smell like lilacs and daisies. This causes steady rises in profits, or at least a plateau in a nice area. I'm no business major, so I might as well be speaking with my head where the sun doesn't shine, but that's my two cents on the matter.
tl;dr
Multiple consoles will actually cause profit in the long run due to a larger, stronger fanbase, and I'm a broke college student who doesn't like to spend on new consoles/handhelds when he needs to be paying for food, rent, and utilities, so I'm all for having multi-platform releases.
Second thought:
If I could make an inference through FFXIII and FFXIII-2 being multi-platform releases, I guess that major installments to the KH series [or just 3, if it ends there] will be on multiple major consoles while anything else leading up to the major installments will be on handhelds and whatnot, which I can live with.
I love the series and am currently playing Harmony of Dissonance, which I started after beating/destroying Aria of Sorrow. What's your favorite Castlevania game and whatnot?
