Sora and Kairi both feelings for eachother, they just haven't told eachother.(hoping they finally get together in KH3). Riku and Sora are just really close friends.
I would have saved Xigbar, hes my favorite.
I personally like the new design better I think it looks cooler. If I recall correctly I think Nomura mentioned something about changing her outfit in a past interview.
Thats the way I see it, I doubt Disney spent 4 billion to buy Marvel just to ruin it. Although what worries me is that if Marvel doesn't perform how Disney expects/wants they might decide to start making changes.
I hope thats the case also.
Glad the rumors were true and that it coming out here in NA, it comes out on my birthday. I've seen the box art and it looks okay.
