It's not Nomura, it's not the series itself, and it's not Mike all by his lonesome... The fanbase as a collective utterly kills the series' integrity.
And there it is. The answer as to why all the kids at your school make fun of you for playing this game - your fellow peers.

i dont get it. people all over Kingdom Hearts websites have all said stuff that they hate the fandubbings. especially gamefaqs, and a bunch of people here say that too since I visit the site sometimes.
so why do you post them since only such a small number of people like them? isnt it a waste of time since there are other things? i just heard Mickey Mouse's and Minnie Mouse's voice actors finished recording for BBS. Shouldn't you be posting about that???
