I do see some similarities between Xehanort and the knight. I also heard that the next game may be about him. So it COULD be about the past, or the secret ending COULD be a flashback since Sora, Riku, and Kairi recieve a letter from King Mickey.
Is that even Mickey...? Could it be someone else? And I don't agree with your "Mickey wants revenge" crap. He's too happy. But I do like the distant future thing.
