Apologies for asking this here, but I've searched for solutions for a good many months. And I have found all of zero answers on countless other sites.
I have an NTSC PS2, I had an Action Replay for it and it worked fine. The reset button broke and became all flimsy and I didn't know how to replace the button part (all the tutorials I found were only for broken power ribbons and not the button itself.) So I had to buy a new PS2 because I didn't want a broken console.
The new one works fine, except it doesn't play my Action Replay anymore. I put it in; the console makes a loud noise (like it's struggling to read the disk,) and gives me a Disk Read Error. I bought a Codebreaker, thinking it was an Action Replay issue, but that fixed nothing (it still screams like a banshee when I try to make it play the Codebreaker disk.)
I'd much appreciate if someone could shed some light on this. Again, I apologize for putting this here, but I have nowhere else to ask it that has a chance of giving me an answer.
I have an issue with one of the codes posted here, it may be incorrect.
This One:
Battle BGM Modifier
DO64B8AC 00005355
206AD4FC 240400xx
I put it in, change the "xx" to the appropriate value, set the game ID properly, but when I try to convert it the top line stays in the raw format (exactly as it's listed here.)
Why is it that the "Play As Riku" code is like 20 billion lines long, when every other "Play As ___" code is only like, 2?
I ask this because I was putting it in (This takes forever because It's so long and I'm using the PS2 controller) and I'm nearing the end and I accedentily overshoot something and Click "Cancel" going back to the Name of it erasing all of what I put in Prior to that.
Excuse me good sirs, but it there a code to play as King Mickey and have access to his "Pearl" Spell? (I've seen a good deal of "Play as Mickey" codes, but they all are unable to use Pearl)
