Abyss walked up behind Nero. "wow. So... NICE of you to try and HELP so much. I guess Bender and I'll go stop Zephyr from getting himself in too much more trouble." Abyss punched the ground and shards(spikes)of earth flew into the air. With one swift movement, the shards of earth flew at the oncoming string of fire and blocked it out. Abyss made more shards of earth come up and they flew at high speeds at Pyro, but were unfortunately blocked by a wall of fire. Abyss walked forward, using cars as shards of earth and hurling them at Pyro. Though they were all melted by the intense heat, Abyss could see Zephyr doing considerable damage every time Pyro was distracted.
Abyss answered before Zephyr could speak. "Wolverine's going to tell us, I can hear him coming." Just at that moment, Wolverine walked around the corner and Abyss, Zephyr and Bender all snapped to attention.
OOC: S'okay, I can live with god modding. To an EXTENT.
BIC: Abyss rolled his eyes and looked up. The rain had stopped, but it was still cloudy enough that if the X Jet were to land, he wouldn't see it. On the other hand, he wondered if the storm had been caused by Storm herself, but he shook his head. What reason would there be to use that strength? Abyss looked around and saw Bender run up to them.
OOC: Sorry, MyBrainHurts, I gotta' do this
BIC: "Guys, Wolverine's coming with info on the mission. Er, where's Nero?"
Abyss grumbled as he put the soda back in the fridge. He decided to go find the rest of the people on the list. Looking at the list, he saw that two names had been checked off and a third one was being pursued by Zephyr. Shrugging, Abyss put the list away and stalked back towards his bike, brushing past Zephyr as he did so.
Abyss walked through a wall into the kitchen, looked around, then saw the fridge. Abyss sighed. "Ah what the hell, I haven't eaten since yesterday." Abyss walked over to the fridge and pulled out a soda. "Not that I need to eat as of yet." He said, coolly aware that he just stole one of Zephyr's many sodas. He sat down at the table, made his chair scoot out so he could put his feet up, then popped the top off the soda and took a long swig. It was at that moment that somebody slapped him on the back. Hard.
Abyss read a name from the list. He sighed and looked towards the sky. "Nero. Why, WHY did Wolverine have to give me a list with Nero's name on it? I can't stand the guy. Oh well, I'll just leave him a note with directions. Oh, yeah, I have to find out which room is his. Ugh. Hopefully Zephyr'll get there first so I won't have to do it." Abyss walked down the hallway, quite aware of people staring at him and talking about him to themselves and their friends.
Abyss nodded then looked up, placing his hands on his hips. "Hello, my name is Abyss. I'm sure you've heard of me, I just got back from a mission. Please don't mind the blood on my outfit. By the way, you just got assigned to a mission with me! How UN-fortunate you are. Oh yeah, that'll work PERFECTLY." Abyss said, shaking his head as he brushed past Wolverine and set off to his task.
Abyss first heard some loud music in the upper floors and glared into random windows. ~Oh gee, how respectful to the other teachers and students.~ he thought bitterly. Then, he thought even more bitterly ~And son of a gun, there's Wolverine, and he looks PISSED. Yep, we're in for it now.~ Abyss sighed deeply as the three stopped and turned off their bikes. "I bet I know what happens next." Abyss said with a hint of expectation.
OOC: Oh god, Xen! D'you have to go around telling everybody about what happened during the 1 1/2weeks?! GOD!
BIC: Abyss craned his neck to hear the faint sound in his ear that kept bugging him. It sounded like people talking, but he decided to ignore it. He picked up his bag and prepared to set off with Zephyr and his other companion back to the academy. He cringed at the thought of the three of them, mainly Zephyr, getting chewed out badly about getting back so late. Wolverine had said complete the mission in no more than three hours and it had taken Zephyr's team A WHOLE TWO DAYS to complete it. Abyss' stomach lurched at the thought of what their punishment might be.
"So, er, Jack, where ARE we going?" Ash asked mildly as the airship approached the far off island of Nia'ru. "Just up ahead, check your map if you need to." Jack replied casually. Ash took out what looked like a compass and pushed a button. A small light erupted from the center and turned into a holograph map. Japanese writing marked the names of each island, and the English names underneath the Japanese writing gave the name in English. There was a third language, Ash didn't have real knowledge of it, but he could read it with relative ease and decipher what he said into English or Japanese. Jack knew the language as Kyanainese. Kyanai was a far off place where Jack had originally come from. Ash read out the word. "Hagkt Nia'ru Achu. The island of Nia'ru. Hm." Ash put away his map and sat back down in his seat as Jack drove the airship closer to their destination.
