I generally try to be as optimistic as possible about games that we still know very little about, but good god, Smash 4 must intentionally not be trying to make its fans excited. I mean, Megaman and Little Mac, two characters I've been craving to see since Melee, finally made it in, and I suppose that's pretty sweet. But there's so much awful laying on this pile of greatness that, I really don't think I can even be hyped about this game anymore. First we hear that Sakurai doesn't want to add many new characters, then they want to take out the story mode because of Sakurai's little tantrum, effectively killing any possibility of an enjoyable single player experience for me-- oh, and don't even get me started on how disgusting the 3DS version looks. How can anyone even be excited for such an abominatio-
