I agree with you. I actually thought about something like this not too long ago - why do teenagers feel like they have to 'fall in love', when deep down they (should) know that it most likely won't work? I just see no point in it, what with those who say 'we'll be together forever!' and doodle 'Mrs. (insert crush's name here)' all over notebooks. Then when the guy dumps you, you 'want to die' because he's 'all you'll ever have'. (And that's why I didn't like the Twilight series...)
Personally, I don't care to be in a relationship. Heck, I don't like people much in general. I think that if you are friends with someone who happens to be the opposite gender, and you're close friends, then by all means, go have fun by going bowling or whatever kids do nowadays. It doesn't have to result in a 'romantic' relationship. But I believe that... well... you-know-what should be reserved for after marriage. These teenagers who give it away at 15 then complain when they have kids before they're driving... Ridiculous. You should've been smart enough to not do it in the first place! But hey, some people just have to learn the hard way...
Awesome work! =) I'd like to do something like that, but I'm not 100% sure if it would wash off, I don't want Sharpie marks all on my hand, and I don't want to get chewed out if it doesn't come off... o.o
Lance Bass... Who came up with the idea for THAT? -.- KHII voice actor was much better. So yeah, I kinda agree with you...
...
It popped into my head when I was picking my YouTube name... Eventually I figured it fit, because I'm nice to those close to me, and cold to others... Or so it seems. o.o No, it's not because I'm a fangirl. -.-
I agree with some of the other posts here - Nightwish and Flyleaf are awesome.
I like a lot of genres... Depends on what kind of music you would normally play, I guess.
If you play rock and such, I'm a huge fan of Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance myself... Skillet's good, too. The Japanese band Girugamesh rocks. (All on iTunes.)
For a good, upbeat rock song, Bowling For Soup's song 'High School Never Ends' is great. It's on iTunes. It's got a bit of language (nothing TOO bad, if you know what I mean), but I think there's an edited version on there too.
If you play electronic and the like, Caramelldansen's a good choice, I suppose. =) You can find both the nomal and 'speedy' verisons on iTunes ('speedy' is more popular). There's also a Japanese artist called Közi who has a really great electronic-esque song called 'The Eyes', which I love. I don't think he's on iTunes yet, but here's the song on YouTube if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTbBvU8NLuI
Let me know if you'd like some more recommendations! =) My music collection is rather large, as well. ^^;
I have to say, I don't watch movies much. 0.o And most of the ones I do are animated/anime...
'The Lost Stallions'. It was in a bargain bin at Wal-Mart. And with good reason. Hey, it was back LONG ago when I was a little girl and loved horses and what-not (I obviously hadn't discovered the wonder of all I the stuff like now). I didn't know any better! But the way that girl said 'quickly, over here!'... LAME. My mother and I made fun of that for a long time.
'Napoleon Dynamite' wasn't great. People said it was awesome, but it was boring and cheesy to me... =/
HSM. Never seen them, never want to. Just the song clips on YouTube make my eyes and ears BURN... It fills me with this terrible rage when I hear of it. -.-
Might add more later if I can think of some...
People might hate me for saying this, but I rather enjoyed Eragon... I read the book exactly 2 years before the movie was released, but I still enjoyed it. Didn't like how they cut a bit too much from the books, but I didn't want to be there all night like a LoTR movie...
