I strongly believe Terra is Xehanort from the past. And maybe Ven could be Roxas. Does anybody else think it could happen be true?
These are the cases that have made believe that is so:

1. Terra and Xehanort have a simillar hairstyle. Like the front of their hair is swept back up, and the bangs are on the sides. Something like that. Not to mention, their face seems similar, too. What actually sparked this theory to me is the 2nd Birth By Sleep movie in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix + in the part when Terra takes of his helmet and the view closes up on him. When I saw his pupil were like burning, he really looked like Ansem, the heartless of Xehanort, to me. Just keep those burning orange eyes, and make the hair gray or white, and they really look alike. Check it out. Won't you think so?

2. The words "Memory of Xehanort" could be found in the Birth By Sleep movie in Kingdom Hearts 2. Ansem the Wise said he found Xehanort who has lost his memories. Birth By Sleep could be Xehanort's past, his memory. If so, Xehanort should have been there, and seeing the resemblance with Terra, it could be him.

3. Xehanort's heartless who was once called Ansem wore a very similar attire to the old Xehanort guy from Birth By Sleep. Assuming Xehanort/Terra took the identities of mentors or masters, then maybe, Xehanort's heartless took his master's identity as Ansem. I'm suggesting that in that sense, he may have done that in the past, too. Maybe Terra became a follower or gave into the Xehanort in Birth By Sleep and then took his name, which could be why 'Xehanort' is what he remembers when he was found later by Ansem the Wise

4. In the first Kingdom Hearts, while controlling Riku, he was able to create a keyblade (made up of hearts). Notice that it doesn't have a keychain. Terra's keyblade has no keychain either, thus giving more clues Ansem the heartless or Xehanort could have a connetion with Terra. Xehanort may have had the power to control the keyblade. Since he never used it while under Ansem the Wise, he may have used it further in the past, before he lost his memory, back when he probably was once called Terra.

5. Many more hints came to me in the new scenes of KH:FM+, specifically the scenes; one where Xemnas (who is Xehanort's nobody) goes into that secret room in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden and finds the armor and keyblade of Aqua, and then says, "It's been a long time, my friend" He should be referring to Aqua. He couldn't have met Aqua just when he was still under Ansem the Wise. And it's not likely Xemnas would have met her. Aqua may have been dead since we see her keyblade is right there. But then, the armor and the keyblade could just be a representation of Aqua and she still exists. Not to mention, I also read something about a scene from some trailer or something of Terra watching Riku and Sora at Destiny Islands, and saying something like "Please erase me, my friend." He says "My friend." Coincidence? The other scene is the one that begins in when Zexion hears Vexen screaming, calling at him and then asks where Xemnas is. Zexion answers that Xemnas is in the "Room of Sleep". When Vexen leaves, another organization member is spotted, hooded. But, assuming with their conversation, the guy's figure and gestures, he could be Axel. Axel starts talking about the secret of Xemnas. "People with the blade of keys...", "...fought great battles (keyblade war?) "When they were gone, a man who had lost his memories appeared. Xemnas... No, Xehanort was taken in by Ansem around that time, was he not?" Then he says Xemnas goes down there and hears him talking to someone. It could be refering to the scene I mentioned earlier."With the 'Room of Sleep' comes the 'Room of Awakening'." If Aqua is in the Room of Sleep, Ven may be in the Room of Awakening, a room Axel claimed that Xemnas didn't make. Considering, Ven's and Roxas's resemblance, they also could have a strong connection. Roxas was said to be some special Nobody. What if Ven's body was Roxas, which awakened when Sora became a heartless, which could explain why how Roxas and Sora was able to exist at the same time. Ven's and Roxas's attires have similarities, too. But back to Xehanort/Terra, this means Xemnas has a connection to the three heroes in Birth By Sleep.

6. I also think I once heard the battle with the enigmatic soldier in KH:FM+ was Xemnas testing Sora's abilities. If that's so, how could Xemnas know about Terra and his abilities?
*EDIT 8/18/08: ah, I got mixed up here! I mixed up the two secret bosses of KH 1 and 2. Okay, scratch that. But speaking of game elements, having Xemnas and Terra as secret bosses, maybe they have a relation?

7. I read about the trailer of Birth By Sleep in that DKΣ3713 thing... said something about a conversation between Ven and Aqua about Terra, about Terra succumbing to darkness to gain power. For Terra have a heart so strong to resist something like that, his heartless and his nobody could be living testaments of that, both in the strongest forms of heartless or nobody, those in a human form.

8. If Terra and Xehanort had no connection, what history would Xehanort have? Would he be just some kind of guy who had an unknown past and becomes a heartless? What the heck

This is all I have for now, and I'm already tired typing. I dunno. I just love Kingdom Hearts and its mysteries, and I'm excited for the new titles to come out. If I have errors in what I've presented, please tell me

Side notes (off-topic):
-Roxas once asked why the keyblade chose him. Maybe that's why he went out looking for Sora to find an answer. But then, Roxas has one keyblade at the start, which is the Kingdom Key. But then later, he has Oblivion and Oathkeeper. Maybe he got the other keyblade from the 14 Org. member, and maybe she has a connection with Kairi, since Oblivion's keychain is like Sora's necklace, and the Oathkeeper is Kairi's lucky charm. I'm sure the 14th member isn't Kairi's nobody though. With my theory of Roxas/Ven though, maybe she's the nobody of Aqua?
