I don't see how Mickey could have a keyblade before he found the inverted keyblade. If Mickey keyblade is like Sora's then it's just one keyblade but with many different forms. Maybe this means in the new project you'll play as Mickey. And Mickey will have the ability to change his keyblad like Sora.

I still think the middle knight is could be Xehanort, or rather, the one who becomes Xehanort. In the first secret movie it showed the middle knight split and then come back together, which seemed to imply he isn't whole. Now this could mean he wasn’t whole then or that later he wouldn’t be whole or that he had just become whole again. Also we have the phrase, “Memory of Xehanort,†which seems to imply this may be an event from Xehanort’s past. And we have this quote from Nomura-san "Xehanort's name has two meanings. When you spell it in Roman alphabets and rearrange them without the 'X', they'll spell 'No Heart' and 'Another'. These meanings are connected to the [first] secret movie." So I think somehow after the end of the movie something happens which caused the middle knight to lose a part of himself. And either the original part or the lost part eventually becomes Xehanort. It may be possible that the other part survived, and grew to hate Xehanort.

I’m not saying this is the way it has to be. It seemed like Sora may have fought the ES in the past, which would make my theory very unlikely. If the fight was before the secret move it defiantly would make it impossible. If it was in the past but after the secret movie it could still happen, but it seems unlikely he would have that strong a hatred of Xehanort. But in the end I can’t help but thinking this is just a red haring, something to make us think Xehanort can’t be the middle knight, when he really is, or at least a part of him is.

Please, if I’m wrong correct me but Nomura-san has never said there won’t be a KH III, just that the new project isn’t KH III. It may be a spin-off which will answer some of the questions from the secret move and raise even more for KH III to solve.

Happy to see so many good theories already. Well, here's another for ya'. Just a warning, this will be a bit long.

1. I think that the movie might take place where the final battle of the Keyblade War was fought. All the keyblades were arranged into a road the honor the ones who fought.

2. I think there are two types of keyblade, normal (no keychain) and true (with keychain). The normal were strong magical weapons, but they were also completely physical and could not disappear or change shape. This is why the AUs always had their keyblades in hand. The special were very rare and required a very strong heart to use. This was because the user’s heart was needed to manifest the keyblade. The keychain is what the user focused on when manifesting the blade, which is why it can have so many different forms. In the movie only Baldy and Red had keychains so I would say they would be keyblade masters while the AUs were keyblade wielders. Maybe in the first movie it showed the AUs picking up the three keyblades to show that they wanted the power of true keyblades.

3. I think that Baldy, Red, and the AUs share a common planet of origin, and they represent the two sides that fought. Baldy's side may have had pointy ears, so Saix and Xigbar may have been descended from them, Xigbar may have lived through the war.

4. I also think the tall AU is Xehanort, mostly. I have thought so since the first movie. In the first one it showed the tall AU split and then come back together, which seems to imply he isn't whole. And as you probably know Xehanort spells 'No Heart' and 'Another' if you rearrange them like an organization name. In an interview Nomura said "these meanings are connected to the [first] secret movie." So what I think is that after they are beaten the tall AU becomes angry and decides to use the power of darkness to increase his power, and that is what causes his eyes to change color. He then proceeds the beat Baldy and Red, but, possibly with his final attack, he does something to lose part of himself, thus creating Xehanort.

5. I think yellow eyes represent someone willingly using the power of darkness. First, all the heartless have yellow eyes. As did Xehanort heartless, Xemnes, Ansem the Wise, Saix and Xigbar. So what if Saix and Xigbar come from a place where they regularly use the power of darkness. And when Ansem the Wise accepted the power of darkness and became DiZ maybe his eye color changed as well (I don't remember his eye color in the seen where it shows him talking with Micky). And if the tall AU is the one who becomes Xehanort that could account for the eye color. The same goes for the rest of the organization. Maybe they never accepted the power of darkness before they became heartless so as nobodies their eye color was the same as before.

6. I think that the Blue Haired Girl and Blond Haired Boy are new characters. Though the BHB may have something to do with Roxas and Sora. I would also agree that they were lovers.

7. I also think Baldy is completely new. Maybe Xehanort's heartless had the same clothing is because that was all he could remember.

8. I think that the first part takes place in the past, but the part with Micky takes place in the future. The reason is just before the camera goes to Micky the camera jumps. So maybe he either just found where the fight took place or it’s some type of simulation.
