I really don't mind, or care. I have a DS, my brother's got the PSP (But I'm planning to get my own in a year or so, because there is no way we'll be able to share when Birth by Sleep comes out), and I don't know about Coded yet. [Edit: Although I do have a cell phone... but I guess it all depends on what type of phone it will end up coming out on.]
But really, when will they be coming out? In a good year/half a year, maybe more. In my opinion, you'd be able to save enough for at least a DS (if that is what you are missing), maybe even a PSP (again, if that's the one you're missing). They might even go down with the price a little by that time.
Yes, I agree that it's unfair, I was exactly like that when I started liking KH due to the fact that the only Sony Console I had was a PS1, which was broken.
I remember that I saw some commercials when the first game came out...I wasn't into video games much at the time (only had a ps1) and when I saw the donald and goffy I thought it might be good...and the CoM commercials around X-mas 2004...then I forgot all 'bout it...I actually didn't get it (or remember what it was) until spring break 2006...that Kingdom Hearts crossover story finally got me into it...
