Yes, but even so you have to beat Xemnas in order to do fight him. It may well just be a teaser for the next game, and I bet it is, but it is a little bit of proof.
No, you need to completely defeat Xemnas (complete the game) to fight Terra, and even though part of Xehanort's heartless is still in Riku his heart was freed.
And as for the Bald Man, I have no idea, but this is all theory.
No, I'm not quite sure about that one. I think it has something to do with Xemnas and how he spends his time in the Room of Sleep in order to find his memories.
Glad to hear you guys like it. As for the Black Mage/Bald Man being Xehanort, if you read the theory he is the REAL Xehanort. When Terra fights off the parasitic Dark Energy, he is left only with the memory of the word Xehanort, so he takes it as his name. And if you look closely at Terra, he does kind of look like the Xehanort we know.
Well, with the release of Birth By Sleep many theories have sparked up, and by reading a lot of those theories I have pieced together the many peoples theories and added my own thoughts, so without further ado here we go. This Theory will not go into the details of the Terra, Ven, Aqua relationship with Sora, Riku, and Kairi, but will go into the reason for the battle in Birth By Sleep and the details of what led up to the story so far.
The three knights, as we know, are Terra, Ven, and Aqua. The three of them gathered in the original Sunset Horizons (the name of the song played in the video, the fans dubbed the video this) and pick up the Keyblades. However, as seen in the Another Side, Another Story compared to Deep Dive, you can see that the first was just a concept art. The fact that they pick up the Keyblades, in my opinion, is just to show the relationship with Sora, Riku and Kairi.
Disregarding that, as Birth By Sleep you see the dark figure from Sunset Horizons up close, revealing a bald man. He and heartless looking creature that he summons proceed to completely annhialate Terra, Ven, and Aqua. The three of the Knights seem to share the same personalities as Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Ven, being reckless like Sora, attempts to charge the Bald Man but is held back by Terra, who, like Riku, attempts to fight the Bald Man without letting Ven get hurt. Aqua shows characteristics of Kairi when she cares for a hurt Ven after the Bald Man freezes him.
Towards the end of the video, Terra is knocked to the ground and the Bald Man's Keyblade becomes a ball of darkness that forms in the sky, creating a large heart that I believe to be Kingdom Hearts. Terra throws off his mask and his eyes become yellow. Which leads me to the fruit of my theory.
The Bald Man goes by the name of a villain we know so well. We've confronted him twice, both times at Kingdom Hearts. By now you may know who I'm talking about.
Xehanort.
The Bald Man is Xehanort. Now, before I get feedback saying "Xehanort isn't an old man! The Bald Man can't be Xehanort!" read the rest of this.
The only features the Bald Man has to resemble the Xehanort we know is the same robe Xehanort's Heartless/Ansem Seeker of Darkness and a control over darkness. However, there is one person in the video who bares a striking resemblance to Xehanort, when looked at closely.
Terra.
Terra has the same hair as Xehanort, and towards the end of the video his eyes change to the same color as Xehanort's, and his expression reminds you of him. However, Terra, the Lingering Spirit boss from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix +, tells Sora of his hatred for Xehanort, the Bald Man, so how can Terra be Xehanort?
I believe Xehanort is the name of the Bald Man, but Xehanort isn't evil. I believe the Bald Man was the master and teacher of the three knights. The phrase "Master Xehanort's Avenger" was applied to Terra when his name was revealed. But if Xehanort was Bald Man, who attacked them, why would he need avenging? Revenge should be taken.
A parasitic Dark Energy overcame Xehanort, a dark energy seeking Kingdom Hearts took over Xehanort, seeking to use his magical powers to summon Kingdom Hearts. However, I believe Terra used his last amount of power to stop the parasitic energy from making it to Kingdom Hearts by causing the energy to possess him. In taking in the energy, he used all of his will to prevent it from taking him over and lost his memory in the process.
Terra appeared, tainted by darkness and given a couple of new features, on the streets of Radient Garden with only one memory. Xehanort. Nothing about Xehanort, no memory of what or who Xehanort was, just Xehanort. And so he took the name Xehanort and became apprentice to Ansem the Wise.
However, during his stay with Ansem the parasitic energy began to take regain power over him and he began to lust for darkness, and overall Kingdom Hearts. And so he sought out Kingdom Hearts, but finding that he could not use Terra's body to its full extent he was forced to use Riku as a host. With Riku as a host he made it to Kingom Hearts but was overwhelmed by the light within it. The darkness was destroyed and Terra's heart was released, but another part of the paracite was left in Riku.
Xemnas, however, Xehanort's nobody, was left. Xemnas too searched for the Kingdom Hearts, in order to make himself more powerful. However, Terra's memories began to emerge as well during his stay as Xehanort. He found the armor of Aqua and investigated his memories in the Room of Sleep, and slowly his memories were returned to him.
But, in the end, Xemnas was destroyed. However, as Nomura stated in the Director Report XIII, when the body and heart of a human become seperated and released again they will some together, and thus, the Lingering Spirit, or Terra, was reborn.
The Darkness inside of him was weaker this time around, and he had some control over himself.
Master Xehanort's Avenger, what does this mean? Terra can't die or pass on until he avenges Master Xehanort, the Bald Man, and destroys the darkness within him. Otherwise, he will only be able to pass on his hatred for Xehanort, the name the Darkness within him took. When he does, he can finally find peace.
