Rpg cliche logic: No matter how much a romantic female lead is built up or how much stronger they get, they will probably be kidnapped at some point in the game-there is an even higher chance of this happening if the girl in question has been kidnapped before.
Kairi will be given a keyblade, have some importance to the plot, be built up and then get kidnapped for whatever reason so sora has some "tension" in the final area.
im not saying this WILL happen but it is highly likely due to the fact that she has been kidnapped twice before and so far has shown no ability to do anything other than be moral support for sora and riku............and also pairing fodder.
Kind of off topic here but demyx (at least to me anyway) was legitimately a really nice guy especially in the manga there it made demyx out to be one of roxas's friends even if they didn't see each other as much and now im sad that he might not get an appearance again........
dude i never said i hated the bad writing if i did i wouldn't be on a kh forum im just saying it is bad writing............but its not just nomoura who does this almost every form of media has some PIS/CIS so that does not make him a bad writer he just used an old bad writing technique to create a story
Actually it is, the reason is bad writing :/
@below exactly! honestly though i cant think of any type of media the doesn't have some form of PIS or CIS in it so i can forgive kingdom hearts
This can be answered quite easily: the plot demanded it, for instance did they need to make xion absorb all of roxas's memories? no. they could have just let xion absorb enough to wield the keyblade and leave it at that then roxas and xion would have had no reason to rebel and xehanort would have his vessels nicely under his control, but nope instead he has to do something completely stupid because the plot needed to be moved.
i would care but we have xion and aqua (and namine cause she at least tries) to counter-act kairi being a damsel so honestly? im ok with her being sidelined, im more concerned with her being a keyblade wielder cause all she has done so far is be kidnapped so i really fear that giving her a keyblade will just lead to her being captured again.
The cheesy yet welcomed message of your friends are the most important thing.
However my personal fav message is one from xehanort about keeping balance between your light and darkness-look i know it cam from the villain but think about this: terra let darkness overcome him and because of this ended up having his body stolen by xehanort, eraqus let light completely rule him and always decided to do what was best for the world even though because of this he ended up hurting the people around him because of this and in his last moments deeply regretted this.
ven who could not live without his darkness had to take comfort in some of sora's dark which is why sora is so full of light because ven took a little bit of his darkness and when ven destroyed the dark part of himself he almost died only surviving once again because of the dark part of sora's heart where he could sleep-he did follow sora's light to get there but his dark was ultimately where he slept.
hell even in the end ven's darkness (he had mostly recovered by this point) was protecting sora was xehanort's heart and outside invaders even if it was keeping sora asleep and riku who was taken over by the dark once and feared it came to realize that there needed to be a balance (till ddd ruined it with the return it to light line)
so honestly i think that for the most part the series has a great message about balance
if they were going to ever make it it would have to have a great story like in dissidia cause dissidia was an amazing prequel to FF1 and FFV if you payed attention closely
