"Keep it up! He shouldn't be able to take much more!" Beuce channeled all his power into his keyblade and commanded Maximus to jump high into the air. The energy coalesced into an utterly massive blade of energy that he brought down on the serpent as they descended back down to the earth.

Beuce hurled his keyblade at the serpent, striking it squarely between the eyes. Maximus carried him forward and leaped into the air for him to catch it. Before they even hit the ground, they vanished from sight and appeared on the other side in a flash of petals, leaving a huge gash in their wake. Beuce took a deep breath and concentrated as they regrouped, the familiar steel-grey glow enveloping his body. He called forth a surge of energy and had it envelope his keyblade, creating a shell around it. With the moment's break taken, he cast out a line of electricity for Maximus to gallop onto.

Beuce gripped his keyblade and remained uncowed by Jafar's transformation. The others had already started on him, but he figured doing a bit of prep work would be ideal. He raised his keyblade and conjured forth several spheres of water that launched themselves at the giant serpent, dousing him in water to channel the electricity they'd be throwing at him. "Keep on him! Don't give him a chance to counterattack!" Afterward, he planted his keyblade in the ground and called forth a horse below him to carry him forward.

Beuce summoned his keyblade into his hand and stepped up toward Jafar, pointing it at him. "Saving your third wish for the keyhole is awfully bold of you. You might be on a power trip now, but now you've gotta contend with something a bit more powerful than primates and tapestry. If you don't use it here and now, we might sweep you before you even know what happened. You're not the first all-powerful sorcerer we've taken down, and you won't be the last either." His words conveyed that he wasn't just spouting bluster. There wasn't a shadow of a doubt in his mind that the group of them could take down Jafar, even with his newfound magical prowess.
Beuce wasn't overly fond of the idea of beating up locals, but these guards didn't exactly seem to be giving them much choice. They were proficient and trained but weren't any threat to a group of keyblade masters. He threw out a powerful fire spell that conjured a roaring sphere of flame and dispatched the one Karina was fighting. He weaved through the cuts and slashes directed at him with relative ease, using his arm as a shield to deflect their blades before riposting with his own. Three quick cuts with the red edge of lofty grasp, and another guard was down. His eyes darted to Karina for just a moment. She was on a proper rampage through the enemy ranks, and no one was about to stop that. Not that he'd want to. With an overhand throw, he knocked unconscious a guard who was trying to flank her. Then, punched one nearby in the face. It wasn't a particularly damaging maneuver, but every little bit helped.
Beuce watched with a similar amount of surprise to the rest of the group. His jaw wasn't exactly agape, but he still had enough of a sense of normality to understand that this lied squarely in the realm of "uncommon". The man seemed to have suffered a high speed collision with the sand not too far off, so the man jogged to his location. "Hey, uh, you alright there buddy? Mind telling us what you were doing inside a giant sand tiger? He also said something about a forbidden treasure you messed with?"Beuce crouched to the dune the man was laying in to get closer to eye height with him. "My name is Beucefilous. Beuce for short."
"Well, in fairness, it's a bit of a niche talent. Under ideal circumstances, we only really need the one, which we're already pretty good at." Beuce said in his defense. He set down a tray containing a fairly loaded salad and a side of what appeared to be chili. He began to eat with the fervor of a man starving, most likely because he was. "Meanwhile, I've been hitting the books pretty hard. If there's enough of a difference in power that some masters can become legendary, while others are just 'oh I mean yeah they're a keyblade master it's whatever.' There has to be some explanation behind it." He took a sip from his unknown beverage and continued to demolish his meal.
Beuce clamored out of the ship and planted his boots onto the ground at Central Haven. It had been a quiet ride. Luna didn't seem terribly pleased, but he didn't feel like it was a particularly good idea to pry about the events that had lead her to that point. He realized that the fight he was in had certainly gotten the better of him, and he was relatively exhausted. He began his way toward the infirmary to get the things to patch up his relatively minor injuries before he headed to his room.
However, he got there to find Kel blocking the door; and he was facing the inside. Beuce peaked over his should to see a gruesomely injured Karina trying to make her way out of the room. "Yo. I'm back. Looks like some wild *KUPO* happened on your end of things as well. You wanna sit down and talk about it?" He offered to the two of them. First and foremost to keep Karina in bed when she clearly wasn't in any state to be anywhere else. Secondly and more honestly, was because he simply wanted to tell someone about the events that had happened.
"Good... now there's just one thing you have to do." The area around them went dim "You see in order for me to achieve that level of power, a being of great power had to be attributed to the void... My wife gave her life so I could attain that power. And I've regretted it ever since..."
He locked eyes at Beuce. "I will be your tribute on the condition that you bring back Eliza alive, He reached behind his cape and pulled out a small music box. Put her heart into this."
Beuce took hold of the music box out of the man's hands. He paused, looking at it and thinking what it meant. "You know, I don't like you. You're perhaps the least pleasant person I've ever known to be around, but I think I understand you a bit better. Something important to you was lost for you to gain what you have, and you'd trade it back if you could, but you can't. So this is the best you can do." He looked up from the music box to Orion. "I'll make sure it's done."
"Make your own destiny," he replied as a large pink aura surrounded him, causing him to Vanish.
Beuce looked down at the box, understanding the weight of what it represented when a thought struck him.
"Wait, you ******* get back here I can't open portals!" He screamed into what was now the void. He sat down on a rock and pulled out an object from his pocket. "Well, it's as good a time as any to try this out..." He fumbled around with a few buttons on it before it began to make a ringing noise, and he put it up to his ear. "Hey. Yeah. Yeah, it's Beuce. Listen can you like...pick me up? Because I'm stuck here. Yeah. Yeah, I'm on my homeworld. It's like over in the Starway galaxy. It's broken in half, you can't miss it. Well, I'm sorry it's out of the way I didn't choose to be stuck here. I'll tell you when you get here. Okay, thanks. Bye." And he hung up the phone.
