The Phantom of the Opera!
i am proud to be a phantom phan! :D
saw the film 12 times in the cinema alone and have sadly only seen the musical once ....:(
Les Mis has got to me a close second and then Avenue Q, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, well almost any ALW musical really -
resident evil - i just saw 5 seconds of that game i and was running for the hills ... i'm a light weight really when it comes to scary flims/games/books.....
especially when it includes zombies
*shudders*
personally for me though its this really old pc game called 'The 7th Guest' - man it really freaked me out when i was little.... i don't find it scary now, but the music is still creepy... pity no one's heard of it.... -
its all so squishy and horribe and smelly..... urgh...
and i have a confession
i actually enjoy vacuum cleaning... it can be very stress relieving....
methinks i need to get out more.... -
i've beaten it twice on moderate - i was going to go for 100% journal but then my brother deleted my file .... i was not pleased
now i've beaten it 3 or 4 times on proud and am going again for the journal ... and gummi ships before i'm going to beat it again.... and.... its.... taking .....forever.... -

Stupid things!
my mum said 'jaws' was about an ostrich
i think that goes way beyond stupidity.... -
Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield
The last that ever she saw him,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
He passed on worried and warning,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Lost in a river that Saturday night,
Far away on the other side.
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through.
The trees that whisper in the evening,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
All she saw was a silhouette of a gun,
Far away on the other side.
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through.
[ Chorus ]
I stay, I pray
See you in heaven far away.
I stay, I pray
See you in heaven one day.
Four a.m. in the morning,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
I watched your vision forming,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Stars move slowly in a silvery night,
Far away on the other side.
Will you come to talk to me this night,
But she couldn't find how to push through.
[ Repeat Chorus ]
Far away on the other side.
Caught in the middle of a hundred and five.
The night was heavy and the air was alive,
But she couldn't find how to push through.
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Far away on the other side.
But she couldn't find how to push through.
Angels - Within Temptation
Sparkling angel I believed
You are my savior in my time of need.
Blinded by faith I couldn't hear
All the whispers, the warnings so clear.
I see the angels,
I'll lead them to your door.
There's no escape now,
No mercy no more.
No remorse cause I still remember
The smile when you tore me apart.
You took my heart,
Deceived me right from the start.
You showed me dreams,
I wished they turn into real.
You broke a promise and made me realise.
It was all just a lie.
Sparkling angel, I couldn't see
Your dark intentions, your feelings for me.
Fallen angel, tell me why?
What is the reason, the thorn in your eye?
I see the angels,
I'll lead them to your door
There's no escape now
No mercy no more
No remorse cause I still remember
The smile when you tore me apart
You took my heart,
Deceived me right from the start.
You showed me dreams,
I wished they turn into real.
You broke the promise and made me realise.
It was all just a lie.
Could have been forever.
Now we have reached the end.
This world may have failed you,
It doesn't give you a reason why.
You could have chosen a different path in life.
The smile when you tore me apart.
You took my heart,
Deceived me right from the start.
You showed me dreams,
I wished they turn into real.
You broke the promise and made me realise.
It was all just a lie.
Could have been forever.
Now we have reached the end.
Think of Me - Andrew Lloyd Webber/Charles Hart/Richard Stilego from the Phantom of the Opera
Think of me
think of me fondly,
when we've said goodbye.
Remember me
once in a while -
please promise me
you'll try.
When you find
that, once
again, you long
to take your heart back
and be free -
if you
ever find
a moment,
spare a thought
for me
We never said
our love
was evergreen,
or as unchanging
as the sea -
but if
you can still
remember
stop and think
of me . . .
Think of all the things
we've shared and seen -
don't think about the things
which might have been . . .
Think of me,
think of me waking,
silent and
resigned.
Imagine me,
trying too hard
to put you
from my mind.
Recall those days
look back
on all those times,
think of the things
we'll never do -
there will
never be
a day, when
I won't think
of you . .
We never said
our love
was evergreen,
or as unchanging
as the sea -
but please
promise me,
that sometimes
you will think of me!
Theres a Fine, Fine Line - From Avenue Q
There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend;
There's a fine, fine line between reality and pretend;
And you never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.
There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time.
There's a fine, fine line between a fairy tale and a lie;
And there's a fine, fine line between "You're wonderful" and "Goodbye."
I guess if someone doesn't love you back it isn't such a crime,
But there's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of your time.
And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore.
I don't think that you even know what you're looking for.
For my own sanity, I've got to close the door
And walk away...
Oh...
There's a fine, fine line between together and not
And there's a fine, fine line between what you wanted and what you got.
You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime...
There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time. -

You really shouldn't have blown him off - I can imagine in a small town a confession like such may not be the daily norm - nevertheless regardless of that, if you truely was his friend you would accept him no matter what. I mean he's not exactly doing anything illegal - he just likes the same gender in a sexual manner, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Personally I am striaght and i don't think thats ever going to change for me, however, quite a few of my friends are gay/bi and most of my closest friends are - including my best friend. Now personally i can see nothing wrong with that, afterall their preferances are of no concern to me - in fact
Now with your friend - in a small town to come out may be harder than in someother place, and he trusted you, in the sense that you of all people should accept him for who he is. Afterall he's not hitting on you - perhaps i could understand your reaction if he had, but as it is, i think have acted a too strongly and if you were a true friend you would just accept him for who he is. -

I don't really know that many bands - personally i prefer musicals and classical music (god doesn't that sound awful ) but here are some of the ones that i do like :)
-Evanescence - i loved 'Fallen' but not so keen on the 'Open Door' but still i think they are a great band
-Within Temptation - Personally i think they are underrated - their music is no worse than some of the other bands out there - it'd be nice to see them having a larger profile.... but hey thats me..
thats it really - told you i don't know many....... -
