December 27th Famitsu article and HD Screenshots of 1.5 HD ReMix

Kingdom Hearts news galore, as more screenshots and information arise on the anticipated collection release. The latesst famitsu reveals series staff comments, changed aspects, and most other tidbits of repeated information. Along with the article, several screenshots and renders were uploaded by Famitsu and 4Gamer, showing the high quality upgrade the games have received with some snapshots from the trailer as well.

Changed aspects to Kingdom hearts Final Mix:
- Updated Character Models and Textures
- Now featuring Japanese voice acting
- Trophy support
- Clearing the game gives player a custom PS3 theme
- "EXP Zero" and "Combo Master" abilities added. EXP Zero allows the player to gain no EXP, while combo master continues a combo whether or not the target is hit.
- Camera controls adjusted to the R3 button
- 'The Triangle button executes various actions, such as talking to other characters
- Summons now have their own slot in the command menu

Few staff members behind the character design and programming (Gen Kobayashi, Sumio Nasu, Tohru Yamazaki) commented on whether or not you've played the games, the remodeling will give players a "fresh" feeling from the gameplay. They thoroughly enjoyed remastering the title to such high definition and hope that fans will really love the new additions.

And for something to look at, here are 50 new HD screenshots courtesy of Famitsu. You will find newly remodeled renders, cutscenes, and gameplay in all it's glorious splendor. You will notice that Deep Jungle will return for the HD ReMix, as well as a slightly altered gummi system. The first Trophy has also revealed itself with the Japanese translated title: "Hero in the Making"

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix Goes Up For Preorders

The largest figure/hobby shop in Japan, AmiAmi, has kept importing hopes alive by putting Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 Remix- up for preorders.

You can preorder the game by clicking HERE! AmiAmi's price is set at 5,780 JPY (Approx $69) plus shipping. You do not have to pay anything until the game comes out in March, so be sure to reserve your copy if you plan on importing~

Amazon Japan has also put their preorder up for the game which can be found HERE, but is priced higher at 6,115 JPY and cannot be shipped outside of Japan.

1.5 HD Remix: Trailer & Demo Impressions From JF 2013

Hello KH-Vids. Are you preparing yourselves for new coverage, plus the new trailer from the Tokyo Game Show?

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix has been confirmed to release in Japan on March 14 2013. As you already know, Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix and Chain of Memories will be playable, along with 3D rendered scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

We've saw the first trailer from the Tokyo Game Show in September, but now we're expecting to see a new trailer and some playable demos from Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. Speaking of trailers, a trailer impression has been provided by aibo_ac7 and translated by Oishii from KH13.

All HD 1.5 ReMIX scenes are new, with Tarzan, Leon and other new appearances. Also, the 358/2 Days scenes are new, with the clock tower and Castle Oblivion, Roxas closing in on Axel, and Xion saying "What should I do?"
There is a scene with Sora and Kairi sitting on the beach shore at Destiny Islands, facing the sea. The music playing is "Hikari". The scene of Sora, Donald, and Goofy joining hands at Traverse Town also plays. Atlantica, Neverland and Halloween Town are shown.

Sora's fight with Axel is shown, as well as a scene of crossing swords with Riku. Riku on Destiny Island saying "The door has opened, Sora! Now we can go to the outside world!" A person in a black coat throws a card at Sora. Leon says "And they'll keep on coming at you, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade." Axel says "When your sleeping memories awaken, you may no longer be you."

Again, a montage of different world scenes. Ariel, Aladdin, Hercules, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas, Pooh, and The Beast are shown. Sora says, "I've become a part of their heart just as they've become a part of mine. And if they think of me now and then... if they don't forget me... then our hearts will be one." and There's a light in our heart that will never go out." and "there's a light that never goes out!"

Sora, Vexen, Zexion, ect. battles, Ansem and others. Naminé says "Call out to that piece of memory that glimmers faintly deep inside your heart. No matter how far away the light gets, your heart's voice will always reach it." Neverland, Phantom battle, and more.

Sora, "I know now, without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts... is light!" scene, Sora opening the world's Keyhole. In the Secret Waterway, Kairi faces Sora, "Don't ever forget. Wherever you go, I'm always with you."

358/2 Days clip: Axel, Roxas, and Xion are sitting at the clock tower's edge. Xion says, "It would be great if we could always meet like this, just the three of us." Axel facing Roxas, "We're friends, got it memorized?"

Facing Axel, Xion says, "I know this is where I come from! The answers are here." Saïx to Axel, "Xion has no right to be among our number." Roxas asks "Who is Sora?" Xion asks "Riku, what should I do?" The HD 1.5 ReMIX logo shows.

Kingdom Hearts at Jump Festa 2013

With Japan's timezone ahead, Jump Festa is just hours away from beginning. This event is confirmed to show more on the recently announce 1.5 HD ReMix and possibly the PC game for browsers. This thread will keep updated with the latest updates. Square Enix's Events facebook Page has already begun to upload photos. Images from seperate twitters have also begun to surface.
